This is a very secure building within walking distance of Calle la Ronda, Plaza Santo Domingo and Plaza San Francisco. There were 2 bakeries with a one block walk for breakfast each morning. There are 2 locked doors you have to pass through before you reach your room. We had a great view of El Panecillo from the door of our second floor room. The owner was always available and helpful. Our room faced the street below so it was very noisy. Traffic would wake you by 6:30 every morning. The room had no tv, a/c or heat. It did get a bit cold at night. The room was not cleaned for the 2 days we were there. There was no filtered water available (need to buy bottled water for the room). The bathroom was large and recently remodeled. There was good wifi in the room. Our room had one queen and one twin for the 3 of us. The beds were firm but comfortable. The owner did arrange for taxi service to and from the airport for $30 one way. This was a good value for the price. be aware that they only accept cash payment.
