A wonderful stay, The views are stunning, the rooms well appointed, the food good. Add to that a range of staff that could not have been friendlier and a bottle of whisky in the room to have a drink during your stay (not a miniature!), you have a winning combination. There is a free tour and tasting built in. The distillery is small and very hands on with everyone engaged. (Their latest release was blended by their Finance Director, Lexy). This is not a Macallan-style tour and all the better for it. A lot of the islanders are involved in some way with the project, and they are as much part of the hotel as the distillery is. It is a real community venture that is bringing new life to the island. I have great respect for the founders and their vision. Keep up the good work.

Stayed for the winter whisky retreat package . Found the hotel , food and staff to be great. Distillery tour was very good and huge credit to Emma our distillery guide who was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. All in all a fantastic trip which wasn’t cheap but in my opinion great value for money

Fantastic location and very comfortable hotel. The lack of staff is obvious and quite understandable due to the location of this hotel but doesn’t help with the experience if waiting 15 minutes at the reception for someone who is able to check you in!! Also in the evening all the staff drink in the bar, that in itself takes away the exclusivity that is expected in a place of this calibre.

We only went to the Visitor Centre. (Again. We had been maybe 5 years before and enjoyed it). The menu at lunch time was a problem, so many excellent choices. I played the tourist card and ordered the Raasay Home Farm Haggis Cruinn. My wife opted for the Taste of the Sea Fritter. Obviously we swapped plates half way through. Excellent choices. A minor wrinkle was I could have done with a small piece of bread to mop up the first class sauce with the haggis. But then I am just an ignorant Sassenach. Really helpful bar staff, who also advised in the shop. After a wee taste I bought the standard bottle of whisky. Any comments are reserved until I open it. It is being but a side for a moderately special occasion, though I suspect the up and coming Father's day will resolve that one. Footnote, check the ferry times for the return.

What an incredible place. We had a fabulous stay. The rooms are lovely with thoughtful additional welcoming touches. We had breakfast and taster evening menu, food was amazing. I really have to praise the staff working at the hotel, they were exceptional - friendly, helpful and obviously proud to be working at the distillery - particularly would like to mention Craig and Ethan (hope I have names correct) who were serving behind the bar, and the receptionist who greeted us on arrival and gave some great tips on local walks.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Lovely welcome with welcome drink. Personally shown around and up to our room. The lounge and honesty bar are a lovely touch. The renovation on this building is truly stunning. The stone walls, wood cladding, use of glass to get the most of the view are all perfect. Our bedroom was lovely. So tastefully decorated and very homely. The tour was great and very interesting. Breakfast was lovely and some interesting options. All in all a fabulous stay.

Blown away by the raasay distillery hotel. Unbelievably beautiful views of skye's mountains. Staff extremely attentive with a warm welcoming ambience(and welcome drink). Relaxed into our stay at bar and in private guest honesty lounge. Rooms spacious luxury and rooms 1 n 2 have brilliant views. Really entertaining interesting distillery tour and the drams to die for. Food both here and at raasay house hotel excellent. Island a gem for exploring- brochel castle, calum's road, coastal walks and dun caan. Highly recommended will be back
