It was wonderful to have the space offered by this apartment (we stayed in the junior suite) versus a compact hotel room, and there were nice little touches I was not necessarily expecting like fluffy white towels, a kettle, microwave and mini fridge. So we were very comfortable and relaxed. The awesome breakfasts deserve a special mention as they were excellently prepared and very generous. We enjoyed having these in the room so much that we just chilled out one morning to enjoy them rather than rushing out to go sightseeing. Although we never met the owner, he was proactive and responsive in his communications with us which was great. The staff servicing the apartment were also lovely. The location of the Townhouse is also superb for exploring Mdina and Rabat. Finding parking nearby on the narrow side streets can be a challenge, although if the worst come to the worst there is a free parking lot 10 to 12 minutes walk away.

Perfect location, the bus outside the house takes you to the airport, 10 minutes to go for a nice walk to Mdina, restaurants,bars,supermarket nearby, bus TD1 from main square in Rabat takes you to Cirkewwa and from there walk 20 minutes and visits Paradise bay fabulous place, the same bus to visit Blue Lagoon stop in Ahrax, 5 minutes walk to take the Ferry in Comino, other buses take you to Veddetta, I recommend the hotel for the ease of transportation to different places, the room very nice comfortable bed, good shower, there is a terrace where you can enjoy an afternoon and have a beer on a hot afternoon, but the best thing is the breakfast a 5 star every day is different, I saw a lot of comments and it's true and it really is delicious Robert is a true professional in the kitchen, thanks for making our stay the best.

Pro - beautiful old house - big room with big bathroom - breakfast is a gold star huge selection of fresh fruit and freshly made egg - at the top there is a nice terrace, it was too cold to sit outside but we used it for star gazing Con - the hotel is located on the Main Street bus stops next to the house, but pavement is quite small
