The road from Florence is not easy to drive, it is all gravel roads. . .
The hotel was newly opened in July this year. It was renovated on the basis of an old building. There are not many rooms in the hotel. It is located in the middle of an olive tree and a vineyard. It is relatively quiet. You can see the starry sky very clearly at night.
But because it was newly opened, the room had a decoration smell, which I couldn't stand due to my sensitivity. However, the hotel said that it could not be replaced when the room was full, so it could only give me an aromatherapy diffuser. . . There are no other remedies.
There are very few choices for dinner at the hotel.

The Pieve Aldina hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! The atmosphere is both grand and welcoming. Definitely take time to visit the stunning church and wander the beautifully maintained grounds while you are there! The best part of our experience was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, who all went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. The chef and sous chef even came out to greet my sister personally and confirm they could provide her with safe, gluten-free options from their kitchen. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will be back to visit again!

Absolutly charming and cozy boutique Hotel in Chianti. The food was amazing, the staff very polite and helpfull. The mix of old architecture with brand new renovation/construction is just spot on, done with amazing taste and design Only down side was that our room did not have and AC that was very effective at night But that is nothing compared to the rest of our stay !

This is a beautiful property and beautiful location, views, etc.. but it is more remote. The hotel service doesn’t keep up with other 5 star properties in our opinion. Staff seemed green, not overly organized in general. I would recommend having a driver organized privately if you’re not driving as it is more remote and not walkable to other places. The restaurant on property is nice, but not open late.. we ate 2 dinners on property both were fine but nothing exceptional. Overall the beauty of property didn’t make up for the level of service we received along the way

We had a marvelous, relaxing stay at your beautiful hotel a week ago. The hospitality was incredible. The manager was so kind to us. She gave us a wonderful feeling of comfort, The staff also were so helpful and kind. Our room was wonderful, the views spectacular, and the food was to die for, especially the breakfast. The pastries were so fresh and the fruits would melt in your mouth. We had the best time ever, and are planning our return.

Overall an amazing stay, would enhance the pool service, the wifi was not always good quality, the 5 courses menu was ok, may just ask for all the pasta dishes that were awesome. Overall amazing stay at a good price, the barbecue is a most (go with empty stomach) . Personal was top notch, felt a family boutique hotel. Highly recommended.

From the time we arrived to the time we left, the staff at Pieve Aldina took every measure to make my family (2 young children) feel at home. They went above and beyond - two specific examples: 1) we went to the concierge desk to look for kids’ activities in the area. When a few options weren’t available, one of the concierge even contacted her landlord to get recommendations, given they had young family members. 2) Being from America, our young children aren’t quite used to the later start times for dinner in Europe. The staff helped to arrange an earlier dinner, prior to the opening of the restaurant, for our kids which was much appreciated. The chateau itself is beautiful with great views of the Chianti hills. It is a really convenient location for access to wineries and some of the other Chianti villages. In terms of food, we had some of our best meals in Tuscany on-site at the dining options they had. The staff is knowledgeable and makes recommendations on food and wine pairings. We were very sad to leave, but hope to be back some day.
