We very much enjoyed our stay at Epoca – Camere Con Stile in Ragusa Ibla, Sicily. We rented two of their four rooms, which are located in a large old palazzo with a lot of character. High, domed ceilings, tiled floors, balcony, and gorgeous period furniture. Everything was clean and very well maintained, with modern bathroom gear. You enter the palazzo via a central courtyard with enormous doors. Costanza was great to deal with, and super helpful. Prices are very reasonable. There is a very nice common terrace, sunny in the morning, and shaded in the afternoon. A nice breakfast is served every morning, indoors or on the terrace. We were delighted to find a great restaurant literally next door (I Banchi). Ragusa Ibla is incredibly quaint, and the very beautiful Giardino Ibleo is a very short walk away. The myriad roses there were in full bloom during or stay in May. We would stay at Epoca - Camera Con Stile again in a heatbeat.

We stayed four nights in Room 3, a lovely room with pieces of antique furniture, a superb traditional Sicilian bedroom suite and all the usual modern conveniences. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable and there are facilities to make your own tea or coffee. Breakfast was a range of Sicilian treats, with excellent coffee made to order. (There is even a small plate of Modica chocolate.) Two sisters, Constanza and Maria run this lovely bed and breakfast accommodation, which is located in part of a renovated Palazzo. They are both very welcoming and helpful. We experienced one cold, rainy day and spent the morning visiting some nearby churches and a Baroque palazzo. Upon our return, I spent a few hours in the comfortable living room of Epocha, which has some beautiful furniture and various books on Sicily, Baroque architecture and Sicilian needlework, as well as travel information. Epocha is a lovely place to spend a quiet afternoon. It is also perfectly located close to the main Piazza, various restaurants and a superb bakery called Ludice Pasticcere.

This B&B was absolutely lovely. Centrally located in Ragusa, we could easily walk around town from here. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, especially compared to other (fancy) hotels we stayed in in Sicily. Breakfast was served outside and was very peaceful. Our room was huge and had lots of beautiful antique furniture. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Ragusa!

Ragusa is one of our favourite places to stay in Sicily and this is a great place to stay when you are there. Conveniently located for the centre of the city in an historic setting, atmospheric and comfortable. Our welcome was friendly and efficient. Breakfast, with lots of local product was excellent. Maria was outstandingly supportive, when we encountered a sudden crisis.

Our room was large and very attractive. BUT, at night, the traffic noise was incredible and sleeping was impossible. The dinner recommendation was to a tourist trap with the only poor food we had in two weeks in Sicily/Italy. Breakfast was good, and pleasant, on the rooftop terrace. Sadly, would not recommend.

This small family owned bed and breakfast is a true gem for a multitude of reasons. The hosts- Costanza and Maria are incredibly kind and welcoming. I'm sure they make all their guest feel special but personally I now feel like a close friend rather than a guest. They were responsive to an abundance of pre-trip questions and were a big help with parking our car which is priceless in Ragusa Ibla. The Rooms-The palazzo is beautiful and immaculate. Although it's been in the family for generations they have done a beautiful job updating while retaining the historical appeal. The windows allowed plenty of light and air when open but when shut we did not hear any street noise at all. Our King bed was similar to our TepurPedic at home and extremely comfortable. The room was exactly as shown on their website and huge by any standard. Breakfast-Was offered on an outdoor terrace or small sunny breakfast room. The presentation was beautiful with a nice selection and made to order eggs if wanted. Coffee was delicious. Location- I really struggled with where to stay and now, after being in Ragusa Ibla, I would say this is a premium location. Very close to the Duomo di San Giorgio, Giardino Ibleo and great restaurants and best yet, parking nearby. If you can book a room at this small B & B I would not hesitate. You will feel like royalty.

Costanza and Maria are wonderful hosts in their spacious property - the wing of a former palazzo located 2 minutes from the main route through the Ibla. They checked with us ahead of time to make sure they would be available when we arrived, helped us find a place to park when we arrived, gave us good leads on places to eat and visit, provided a cornucopia of choices for breakfast, and were gracious in every way. They are dedicated to making one's stay comfortable and fun. The room was fabulous and the attention to detail much appreciated. Thank you!

We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon in Sicily; we wish that we had stayed longer. Constanza welcomed us with an upgrade to our room (there are only four here in this sweet, family-run place) since we were on our honeymoon. The room was quiet, cool, and had plenty of space for us to stretch out. Breakfast in the morning was truly a delight—Costanza shared her mother’s homemade strawberry granita in addition to beautiful local cheeses, fruit, and pastries. This was one of our favorite stays during our two weeks in Sicily; we would highly recommend to anyone for a simple, comfortable stay with an amazing location in Ragusa Ibla.
