Reaching zostel kolad is fairly easy its a 3 hour journey from either mumbai or pune (drive from pune is really scenic. Zostel is located on the banks of kundalika river. We need to cross the river to reach zostel and zostel provides a ferry service for this, which also a unique experience. It is a beautiful property with clean rooms, outdoor sports (badminton, volleyball & cricket, indoor activities (table tennis, carrom and etc) and amazing restaurant. Zostel kolad particularly lights up after 7pm. There are multiple activities organized by zostel every night involving dance, music, drinks and lot of food. Truly, it was an amazing experience making me want to extend my stay (unfortunately they were fully booked. Ps: book your stay a month early. They sell out very quickly particularly on weekends.

I visited the tanish residency as an american traveler visiting the area for my first time, the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The wifi in the rooms is functional but not super fast and the amenities were suitable for a business trip of my time. I would visit and reccomend this hotel again in the future. Thank you!

I was a solo traveller. My experience was good. Hotel is good safety wise, staff is polite and quick in support service. My room and washroom was neat and clean. Surrounding is good and peaceful. Beach is not visible from second floor but only a portion of it can be seen from third floor and it is just three storey hotel. Food has limited option but good in taste and served hot as it is made by local aunties who come and cook in the hotel. Negative points : 1) It's not a resort it's a hotel. 2) Be prepared to wait for food for an hour so you need to place order one hour before 3) Breakfast is not ready before 9:30am. 4) Slightly overpriced.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities met my basic needs. However, there were a few areas where improvement is needed. The room interior is not so good. The wi-fi signal was a bit weak, and the breakfast options were somewhat limited. Additionally, there was some noise from neighboring rooms, which affected the overall tranquility of my stay. In summary, hotel mari aai provided a decent stay, but there is room for enhancement in terms of amenities, interior design and noise isolation. I would consider staying here again, depending on my needs for future trips”
