Stayed close by and came here for meals. If you like the atmosphere of Indian state-run institutions, you'll find it here. I do. Lunch (a regular "Chapatu") for 200 Rs was very good, see foto. Thanks to Kartthik the cook, Murali, and Lakshmipriya. Will come again!

Location wise it is the best Hotel. The AC Deluxe Rooms / Suits of Main Block are sea facing. From 1st Floor the views are excellent. Mr. Raja(Rajan) at Front Desk is a wonderful person. He guides the guests so meticulously no guest will face any problem even without knowledge of Tamil language. However Hotel Management must think of placing Tea / Coffee makers in each room which is a must as the restaurant is not located in the same bloc. Also there is a need to review the Lunch / Dinner menus as varieties are not available.

This hotel is a pretty average government run hotel. There are both AC and non AC rooms and a restaurant, which has very few items available at any time. The complimentary breakfast is not too good and was delayed by almost 45 minutes on the second day. The room was an AC double room with a balcony and a lovely view of the ocean. The temple and the beach are both within a short walking distance from the hotel. Car parking is available. The staff are indifferent and we needed to carry our luggage up the stairs ourselves. Maintenance and housekeeping are poor and the property is in a run down condition. Except for the location, nothing much to be recommended

This hotel is the worst one.... The staff are terrible.... Housekeeping was bad and indifferent.. I went with the family of old parents and they have no consideration for providing good rooms for us, even if we are paying. These were the worst quality... The AC is broken and the beds have bugs in them... a gloomy ambience.! The reception administration lady staff don't know how to react and communicate back properly. We stayed only one day. The room which was given to us was not properly clean,full of dust and stains, surrounded by bad smell. We called the housekeeping overseer. We, again and again, repeatedly clean our room. She couldn't even understand English. This was the worst part. It is a mess. In the middle of the day. I quit the room instead of staying for 5 days local sightseeing trip.! Unfortunately, this made our trip a very bad experience.!
