Neemrana's - Ramgarh Bungalows

Ramgarh Bungalows has become one of my favorite getaway destinations, and this was my third visit, this time bringing my parents *****. I first fell in love with this place during my visit in September 2019, and every stay since then has been a delight. I’ve always stayed in the old bungalows, which are not only full of character but also offer stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The rooms are consistently well-maintained, equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. This time, I had the privilege of staying in the Magnolia Room at the Rose Cottage, one of the old bungalows, which was spacious and thoughtfully designed. The room featured three beds, two bathrooms, a balcony, and an outside sitting area, making it perfect for families. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade from the staff, which was a generous gesture and much appreciated. The food at Ramgarh Bungalows has always been a highlight, and once again, it did not disappoint. Each meal was freshly prepared, well-cooked, and flavorful, served with a personal touch that truly made the experience special. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the place ensures a restful sleep, and the heated pads on the beds were a thoughtful touch, especially during the winter months. The morning breakfast was especially memorable, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day on a high note. The scenic views from the bungalow, coupled with the serene surroundings, make it an ideal place for relaxation and rejuvenation. The friendly and attentive staff further added to the positive experience, ensuring that our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Ramgarh Bungalows continues to be a place I would highly recommend, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty, great hospitality, and a comfortable, peaceful environment.

The Ramgarh Bungalows, is a Kingsley experience. Pure majestic Luxury and unimaginable hospitality awaits you. You don't just live in nature but you live in art! The property is over 150+ years old but impeccable. We decided to ring the new calendar year at Ramgarh and boy did we get spoiled! One week of an artisan experience here has truly refined our definitions about hospitality. We stayed in the Blue Cottage Bungalow with Sunset & Sunrise Suites. Mr Shailendra, the estate manager of The Ramgarh Bungalows leaves absolutely no stone unturned when it comes to taking care of his guests, the property and his staff! The Chef, Mr Ram Singh is nothing short of a culinary magician who would put Gordon Ramsey and the names to shame, not an exaggeration! Chef Krishan adds to the culinary glory too. The entire workforce is always on their toes and keeps you well fed, warm and safe all the time. Without compromising your privacy at any cost. (All of them are locals and have been working on the property since minimum of 2 decades on average!) No one knows Ramgarh better than them. Their suggestions and recommendations will make your stay memorable. The staff, Anand ji, Pooran Ji, Suresh Ji, Sunil Ji, Harish Ji, Sanjay Ji, Sandeep Ji, Anil ji and the team deserve a very special mention. Without them, our experience would not have been what it was. Mr Deepak Rautela is your go to person for reservations, local taxi bookings and for any assistance you may need. The rooms are clean, free from moulds and warm. The provided linen is top notch, hot water is in abundance with good pressure in the faucets and shower. Toiletries provided are premium, the washrooms and shower area is big and clean. Power backup is complete. Even though there are frequent power cuts, you won't be in the dark for more than 15 seconds. Don't blink an eyelid, visit and experience The Majestic Kumaoni hospitality. Our deepest regards and thanks to everyone at The Ramgarh Bungalows, we will forever cherish the memories. We will be back sooner. Ramgarh Bungalows have been one of the places that I keep coming back to, the peace and serenity at this place is absolutely amazing. You are connected to the civilization and you are not at the same time. The working staff is amazing and they take utmost care of your daily needs. Sanjay is one of them, he has that bright and smiley face which greets you and wants to take feedback for anything and everything possible that can make your stay even more wonderful. The food is absolutely scrumptious and the Chef is really good. The beautiful garden during spring is blossoming with different kind of flowers. I keep coming back to Ramgarh Bungalows to find the peace which is lost in the city.. And this time it marked about 5 years of us coming back to the place. We always enjoy our stay and we most certainly did this time also. Here's to many more..

From the moment you enter the main gate, the entire property has a warm and welcoming feel. It's quite and relaxing. The colonial feel to the place is amazing. Kumaon and Kashmir rooms are the first ones as one enters the old bungalow. The rooms are big, spacious and comfortable. The annexe rooms are very cosy and cute. The sit-outs on both the sides of the rooms are great. One might not get a direct hill view from the rooms but that is not missed because of the lush greenery these rooms open into. And for the view there are multiple terraces that can be leveraged for day long relaxing. Coming to the best part - the Food and the staff. The food exceeded expectations. There is hardly anything that is not delicious. Everything is homegrown - fruits and vegetables. They have an inhouse bakery as well and they bake it in their kitchen. The cakes and donuts in the evening were delicious.. The staff is exceptional. The way they make you feel welcomed, everything customized, going the extra mile for the guests and always with a smile, this level of hospitality is not found everywhere. Sanjay Singh and Sanjeev Singh and the entire staff is amazing. Definitely worth a visit and repeat visits.

I want to emphasize that our stay at the Magnolia Cottage was like a page from a storybook with beautiful illustrations. The staff at the property were cooperative and the food was simple yet satisfying. However, there is certainly room for improvement, especially in making the place more senior citizen-friendly in the future. Despite having a good stay, I must address a few issues. It's important to note that the staff forgot to serve our hi-tea while preparing for my husband's birthday and no one responded to our call at the reception at 9:30 PM when we needed assistance in shifting the furniture after dinner. These issues could have been handled more effectively. Despite these minor hiccups, I believe it has been a great stay overall, and I would still highly recommend this place to others.

This place is for those who want to make memories and enjoy good food and relaxed ambience. Its headed by Shailender ji and under his wing this place gives us a pleasant surprise even after 15yrs of regular visits. Their jams and juices are a must buy. This is not a hotel, but home away from home. Thanks Neemrana for making my bday extra special and memorable.
