Liked · We came in winter, during snowstorm, and I advise to use snow chains as a precaution, because the road can get dangerous, especially the main road uphill from Schladming. The hotel is situated next to small forest and just few hundred meters from XC ski tracks, providing great views of mountains above Schladming valley. You won´t see much of the Dachstein mountain from the hotel. Space for parking was adequate, however when the hotel is full, not all cars fit under the roof, and some must stay outside. Room is spacious and very clean, offering great views and I must say that mini-fridge is extremely silent, I was almost thinking it is broken. Mattress was a bit soft, and I enjoy sleeping on hard ones. Walls are thick, but if a child cries next door you hear it of course :) Breakfast I loved. Even my wife who is on gluten-free diet was getting her type of bread. Owners are nice, helpful. Disliked · Not particularly negative for this hotel, but if visiting during winter and wanting to enjoy dinner, you would have to spend at least 15 minutes walking to nearest hotel which serves dinner. Location is missing few restaurants when it comes to dinner time. Food served around is mostly traditional (not much for "elevated-cuisine-type" people, just good old Austrian heavy foods. :)

Simply perfect!: friendliness, warmth, and expertise in a truly family-run business, a quiet location, the size and cleanliness of the rooms and common areas, and a sauna. Excellent breakfast with a wonderful view.

The hotel is decorated in a hunting style, with stuffed wild animals such as bears and lions in the hallways. The room itself was very large, beautifully furnished, and modern. The bathroom and toilet were brand new. The view of the mountain panorama from the balcony was a highlight. The sauna area was also very nice, clean, and spacious. With a sauna, a steam sauna, and an infrared cabin, the wellness experience was truly perfect. The ski bus connection was almost directly in front of the hotel, but there were only two outbound and one return journeys a day. Furthermore, Reiteralm was the only ski area served by the ski buses. This was perfect for our vacation, as you can also get to all the other ski areas in Schladming from Reiteralm. All in all, a top-notch vacation.

Schöne, ruhige Lage des Hotels. Grosszügige Zimmer, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Sehr nette Gastgeber, die uns auch gute Tipps für Nachtessen gegeben hat. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, Tipp: die Eierspeisen sowie das Bio-Müsli schmeckten hervorragend. Sauna und Schwimmbad und Fitnessraum vorhanden, haben wir aber nicht in Anspruch genommen. Dazu war die Zeit leider zu kurz.

Das ganze Personal, vom Chef( in )bis zum Putzpersonal einfach perfekt !!! Alle ! Hilfsbereit und extrem Freundlich .Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber !!Badezimmer und WC sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstück genügend Auswahl für Jedermann. Da kann man nur mehr 5 Sterne 🌟 geben . Wir kommen wieder .

Schönes Hotel, wie bei Freunden. Das Hotel liegt direkt an den Loipen. Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig und mit Kachelofen ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und sehr gut. Alles perfekt für einen schönen Winterurlaub. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes , familiär geführtes Hotel in absolut toller Lage; rundum den Blick auf die Berge und nahe den Loipen und Winterwanderwegen. Das Hotel lässt keine Wünsche offen; sehr netter Empfang, freundliches Personal, große Auswahl beim Frühstück mit Zusatzzuckerl. Die Zimmer sind angenehm groß, es hat rundum alles gepasst! Die Familie Knauss sieht uns ganz sicher wieder!
