The hotel was located in a central location. Its near a big shopping.
The room was clean and thoroughly clean daily.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
When staying there, have dinner at Aurum at least once. It's a restaurant with good food great ambience and service.

First time here. The entrance from the road and into the building is a little bit faffy with escalators etc to navigate to get to reception. Once checked in, I thought the room was very large with all the usual amenities. Mine had the extra room afforded by the lounge and kitchen area. On the first day I thought the breakfast offering was s little below par, but it grew on me over the following couple of days. I think to improve further they should allow guests to help themselves to juice / water etc- as currently you have to ask staff which adds a bit of latency to it all. Gym a reasonable size but I think the weights section could do with a rethink- currently squashed into a corner downstairs when there is ample empty and unused space upstairs. Staff friendly and polite but I had to remind them a couple of times about the coffee/water orders at breakfast, for example. Location is great for Sandton business and the main shopping centre and restaurants a few minutes walk away. Would I return? I probably would as location works very well for my needs.

The porters are the best, proffesional, helpful and very kind. Beautiful views. Nice and clean rooms but they stole our dress, jacket and sandals and they never bothered to compensate. As i was reading the reviews, i noticed im not they only guest whose stuff was stolen.

If you want luxury then stay here! One of the best accomadations i stayed at in Sandton! My regret is i wished i stayed longer. Also amazing customer service. Rooms were also very comfortable. A must when staying in Sandton if you want luxury.

The Leonardo In a class of its own .. We spent four nights at The Leonardo in a two bedroom grand suite. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival to be greeted by warm friendly staff and a beautiful reception area and lounge. The art work throughout the property is stunning and adds to the general feeling of being in a high end establishment. There was initially some mix up with our booking but Penelope was very helpful and made sure that we were able to check in without any delay. After our Moet&Chandon welcome drink we were taken to our well appointed suite which had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The Al La Carte breakfast was very high quality (although slow to arrive at times) and had enough choice for everyone. Presentation was top notch and we left the hotel each morning feeling very satisfied and ready for the days adventures. Overall, this is a gorgeous hotel in an excellent location. It is made even more homely by the attentiveness of the staff who are alway on hand to make sure that no needs go unmet. Special shout out to Penelope, Bobo ( aka The President) Paulina, Tshepo & Ray (Security Door Man Extraordinaire) !! Great team !
