Great place to stay was exceptionally quiet. Hosts Mike and Charlotte were very welcoming and gave us great advice on where to eat in Rangiora. Priced right for a great clean and tidy room. Would recommend giving them a call they would only be to happy to accommodate you.

Great hospitality,the managers staff were fantastic,know there guests by name,second time here and booked for April 2026.clean well presented modern rooms, had all ammenities you would expect,great for those requiring disability accommodation as well.Travel a lot and the accommodation is as good as the best. The stay for 2 nights for Anzac was amazing.

We found the room spotlessly clean and well maintained with excellent room service during our stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was central for our activities over the weekend and very handy being next to a supermarket. We highly recommend staying here and will be back.

We have stayed at The Riverstone twice now and have not been disappointed both times. Lovely clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms with easy access to nearby supermarket and hotel next door (very convenient!) which serve great meals. Owners Charlotte and Mike are such lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful. We look forward to staying again on future trips to New Zealand, thank you so much for your hospitality

An excellent motel to stay in. It appears new. It is clean and comfortable. I would have liked a microwave pyrex jug or dish to cook with. There were limited Sky Channels. The owners are very friendly. There was a wide variety of coffee and tea sachets and soaps. These were appreciated.

Our experience at the Riverstone was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights to visit family in Rangiora and Christchurch. Charlotte and Mike welcomed us warmly and were there for support at all times. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean everyday. We frequented the Bar and Restaurant next door on 3 occasions for dinner. Great food and friendly staff. Very short walk to Supermarket when we needed. Can’t fault our experience and would highly recommend.

We are seasoned travellers and on a road trip around New Zealand. The Riverstone exceeded our expectations for a motel in Rangiora. From our first contact Charlotte & Mike were very pleasant and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Clear concise communications. On our arrival we received a warm and friendly greeting. The room was spotlessly clean with high end furnishings and everything you could need for a short stay. A true bonus was the 74 steps to the bar and restaurant next door. The rooms are well insulated so there was NO noise from the bar next door. We look forward to staying again in the not to distant future. Julie & Martin
