Best Ratnagiri Hotels

"Our stay at vits was ok. The hotel is situated in a commercial complex and does not have its own building. We checked-in at 3:45 pm and when we tried ordering bread butter and tea we were told the restaurant is closed so we can only have tea. There was nothing to eat till the restaurant opened at 7:30 pm which was very inconvenient. We were hungry the whole day and never expected even some biscuits and bread cannot be arranged by the hotel. The hotel room was very congested with hardly any space to walk about. Both the days there was no hot water for bathing. Not even lukewarm. We had to use cold water! the hotel also very easily told us to empty 4-5 buckets after which we will get hot water. So much water wastage! lastly the housekeeping service is almost zero. The bedsheets and curtains were dirty and unwashed. When we reached back to the hotel the next day after sightseeing the housekeeping person was still cleaning our room at 3 o'clock. Even when we had left at 8 am. The only positive in our stay was the food. The only reason why we didn't check-out early was the food was good. We ordered dinner to our room and tried a variety of veg dishes and all were tasty as well as reasonably priced. Mr. Kushal from the restaurant & who brought us food and attended to us in the restaurant during breakfast was very well mannered and courteous and did his work well. The reception staff too was nice and did our check-in/out formalities in a timely manner. But the overall experience was not worth the money we spent here mainly owing to the bad housekeeping."

Upon arriving at the hotel, i discovered that the room tariff at the location was lower than the amount charged during the booking through your platform. The hotel staff confirmed the lower tariff, but i was charged a higher amount through makemytrip. This discrepancy has caused me concern, and i kindly request a review of the booking charges."

"The location is nearby Ratnagiri railway station. The rooms are spacious and clean. Amenities and hospitality was good. Food service in room and breakfast both had variety of options and nice taste. "

"Excellent location facing the karde beach. We had a beach facing room which was nicely maintained. Clean sheets, towels and bathroom. The staff was very friendly, helpful and prompt in service. Only inconvenience is the reception which is on the first floor. So had to change lifts to reach our 2nd floor room. Didn't eat there as the inhouse restaurant is purely vegetarian."
