The hotel environment is good and the service is also very good. A wild rhinoceros accidentally broke into the hotel. Everyone treated it gently and it was not timid. This shows that the animals and humans here live in harmony. Because it is so big, it blocks the road and is not friendly. I drove him out, and he was very cooperative and walked away slowly and obediently. An unexpected encounter and a wonderful memory!

It was very unpleasant. Ctrip prices are different from those paid at the store. Although Ctrip compensated for the difference, I still feel that we are being cheated. Car rentals and other items in the store are also very expensive, and the location is not very good.

Friendly caring staff, best shower in Nepal, beautiful surroundings. I was lucky enough to be able to book the personalised bungalow which was well appointed. The outlook for breakfast was stunning especially when lucky enough to watch the elephants being taken for a walk and bath. I highly recommend if you go to Chitwan. Stay here

My husband, daughter (age 7) and I had an amazing three night stay at Sapana Village Lodge. We enjoyed numerous activities, like the Lake Jeep tour, Jeep safari, breakfast with the elephants, walking jungle safari and spent the night in a treehouse. The treehouse was once in a lifetime, and all excursions were led by our wonderful guide, Janak Pariyar. I highly recommend staying at Sapana Village Lodge along with our guide, Janak.

Sapana village is a little piece of paradise on earth! We stayed five nights and we absolutely loved it - food is among the best we had during our months in Nepal, the owner and staff are incredibly friendly and being able to watch elephants and Rhinos from the hotel terrace was surreal! We booked a canoe and walking tour, jeep safari and during our jungle night stay we even saw a tiger! The gardens are gorgeous and there are a plethora of nice nooks, swings, and benches to spent time while enjoying the birds and plants. We can recommend Sapana village to anyone.

But unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. The restaurant service was incredibly slow every meal took at least an hour to arrive, which was frustrating, especially after a long day. The food was decent, but definitely not worth the wait. The room had several issues. There were no towels in the bathroom when we arrived, and we had to ask multiple times before finally getting some. The heater didn’t work, and frequent electricity cut-offs at night made it even worse. The hot water was barely warm, making showers uncomfortable. Sleeping was also a challenge due to the constant barking of dogs throughout the night. It was impossible to get a full night’s rest. To top it all off, the lodge overcharges for activities. I later discovered that you can book the exact same experiences nearby for a fraction of the price almost four times cheaper! For the amount they charge, I expected much better service and functioning amenities. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

This place was a great find and was a gold standard stay. We had travelled from India and welcomed the chance to relax for a few days in this beautiful resort. The staff and management were very professional and obviously loved what they do. The manager had arranger lots for us to do during our stay and it was very enjoyable. This is a must see if you come to Nepal 10/10 from us.

Sapana Lodge is a stunning and peaceful place to stay, taken care of very well and modern. Looking for a Chitwan package that was ethical and truly animal friendly, I'm happy I found this place. I enjoyed learning of all the beautiful projects they created and contribute to, including Women's Development, elephant sanctuary, local schooling and housing and more, which makes the place and the experience a lot more special. The staff and guides are all really lovely, and each experience unique. Dhruba made sure I was always comfortable and Dinesh Giri naturalist taught me a lot about Nepal, the culture, nature and more. The food was great and the room clean and comfy, I felt like a princess at all times. I will return🙏🏼😊💚
