Nice hotel with a very nice restaurant directly next door and supermarket and other shopping within 5 minutes walking distance across the street
And plenty of additional restaurants and shopping within 15 minutes walking distance
Hotel staff very nice and very helpful and support wherever they can

This Premier Inn was the best we have ever been too. We slept very well even though the A127 was within 30-40 yards away as the double glazing was fantastic. The room was very clean and tidy, the shower room was the height of cleaness. Our bed was very comfortable. The service at breakfast was quick and efficient , the food arrived piping hot and tasted fresh. The whole experience was lovely and would highly recommend to others.As it wasnt far from Southend seafront we was able to take a trip there knowing we would ne coming back to comfort. Will be staying at this particular hotel again.

Very nice hotel , staff were really helpful and pleasant. Newly refurbished breakfast room also looking beautiful. Car park was free for the whole stay . Room was very clean and housekeepers were helpful with service. Not far away from southend as well

Second time staying here and trust me its convenience over choice, the first time we stayed we were locked out for over an hour due to incompetent staff. This time we had the same issue but it was 10 minutes as opposed to an hour. The room was dirty and there was mould in the bathroom and dust covered the top of the headboard, the company doesn't care about customer service as long as they have your money that's all they care about. They will also charge you £15 for checking in to leave your bags in your room 40 minutes early even if you have concerns about reception being manned when you get back late.

The hotel is easy to find. Plenty of parking. The bedroom immaculate, the bathroom also. Lovely towels. Everything you need when resting on a journey. Definitely further training required regarding catering and serving staff. It is not alright to be smoking outside the main entrance in full view of guests and then to come back in to continue serving and cooking. The cooked breakfast was extraordinarily poor. Partly because of having seen the smokers. I don’t want these staff members to lose their jobs, but I do want their contribution to any further stay to be a positive one.

Filthy dirty, hair in shower, dirt and toe nails around floor in room, dirty pillow case, whole hotel generally mucky and dusty carpets hadn’t been cleaned at all. Cigarette butts on entrance foyer carpet every day. Kitchen closed but only given 3 days notice via email despite this never being opened and not having ovens delivered. Tv in room didn’t work, heater didn’t work-this was a premier plus room!

The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. A perfect place for an overnight stop off. The location was perfect for heading to Southend the following day. My son and I really enjoyed our stay and will certainly stay at Premier Inns again in the future.
