Despite some negative reviews, I decided to give this guesthouse a try, and I'm glad I did. Bed was comfortable, and the owner was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included ,which was a nice perk. It’s conveniently located close to town, and only a 12-minute walk from the train station. Overall, a solid choice for the price!

I wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me. The rooms are tired, uncomfortable and pokey. There is a complete lack of customer service, and the place feels more like a drop in centre rather than a guest house.

Wonderful historical and friendly hotel. The staff was also exellent and breakfast served very nicely. Situated in the middle of everything. Warm recommendations and best wishes from Finland. *********

I enjoyed my stay at Bow guest House. The owner, Mr Raza, was a very nice man and accommodating. Free parking on site was a great bonus. The guest house is near the centre of Reading so very convenient. It is not the poshest part of town tbf, bit of street noise at night but it didn't bother me. The accommodation was basic but good for the price. Thank you Mr Raza

Extremely friendly and welcoming! Nice room with everything we needed. Plenty of coffee, tea and milk. Comfortable bed and slept very well. Free parking. Continental breakfast included. Good location with a nice pub at the end of the street.
