This was one of my worst ever travel experiences. I booked, the hotel took my money and when I arrived I was met with locked doors and a notice stuck to the door saying that all the staff had left and gone to a party. Nobody answered either of the telephone numbers given and late in the evening, and after a tough day’s travel, was left with no alternative but to cancel the booking and try to find a bed elsewhere. Communication with the hotel since has been poor. I incurred costs with *********** to cancel my booking and since this was wholly the hotel’s fault I asked them to cover this cost. No response.
