Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Fab hosts, John & Jackie, beautifully renovated arts and crafts historic home; Gertrude Bell lived there as a child - if you don’t know who she is or what she did, look her up. I can’t recommend Red Barns B&B enough!

Perfect for a stay in Redcar. John was welcoming and informative. Loads of history about Red Barns. Immaculately presented room, nothing too much trouble. Lovely cooked breakfast. Also ate out at Amandos Italianhich was one of Jackie’s recommendations. Excellent. Would we stay again. Yes definitely. Maybe even try a “Parmo” next time!

This is the only place to stay when visiting the area as we have found when visiting family. The hosts have restored the house to a high level of comfort & have thought of so many “extras” to make everyone feel welcome. Highly recommend this B&B.

A beautiful historic building in an equally as beautiful town. The hospitality is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely man and wife who run it. The rooms are airy, spacious and extremely comfortable, visited with my husband, son and father in law and we all agreed how lovely this b and b is. The breakfast was lovely and they were happy to cater for our individual needs and fussy requirements. They were very friendly on arrival and remained attentive and courteous throughout. If we head up this way again we will definitely be staying here again. Short walk from town, restaurants, pub and beach. A definite visit if you are heading up this way xxxx

I would recommend Red Barns without hesitation. Jackie and John are so welcoming; lovely old house with an interesting history; immaculate room with comfortable bed; quiet location with off road parking and a short walk to the sea and town; very good breakfast and nice touches like fresh milk in the communal fridge. Just perfect.

Absolutely fantastic B& B. The most beautiful building, which has been lovingly restored by the very friendly owner. We were given loads of interesting history about the house. Great breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Can't say enough about Red Barns.
