Beautiful hotel, I have been going there for years and I have always had a good time. Strategic location, behind the bronze museum, quiet and very nice rooms, attentive and efficient staff, wonderful is the view that you can enjoy on the top floor of the hotel where you can have an excellent breakfast!!

10/10 thank you. The staff are wonderful very helpful. The hotel clean with comfortable beds and the food was great. Last minute booking and it did not disappoint. Reception extremely helpful. We would absolutely recommend, you won’t regret it !

Very dated decor and worn out looking in many places. Pretty noisy outside and could hear neighbors too. It was clean and the bathroom was nice. Offered the little bottles of toiletries, which was a decent selection if not good for the environment.

A great location and a nice hotel . Easy walk to a long pedestrian street , with lots of shops and restaurants . Lots of free toiletries in the bathroom -- a nice jacuzzi tub , but only 2 jets worked . Breakfast was OK , but if you wanted cooked eggs it cost $ 5.00 extra . If you want bottled water you have to buy that as well .

Stayed one night during a tour of southern Italy. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom stocked with everything you needed for a comfortable stay although the hair dryer was pretty much useless. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Staff was friendly. Would recommend for a short stay.

The Grand Hotel Excelsior is located at the center of Reggio, walking distance to all the amenities, museums, seafront and worth mentioning best ice cream place! The facilities are great, but the most importantly thing to mention is the welcoming atmosphere, professionalism and willingness to go a step further to help their guests. THANK YOU, GRAZIE, we will be back soon and recommend the hotel to those travelling to visit beautiful RC.

A business-friendly hotel which also caters well to independent travelers with a great location, helpful staff, large, well-appointed rooms, and an excellent restaurant (though there are also several excellent, more casual restaurants catering principally to locals within a 10 minute walk).
