Absolutely superb five star with everything staff are friendly, polite , everywhere is spotless facilities are fantastic, our little lad had left his favourite toy in a drawer in the room they found it and posted it back to us. Absolutely superb service.

We were visiting family and The Lawns was just around the corner. Someone was there to show us the well equipped kitchens if we wanted to cook breakfast or any other meal. From the moment we arrived to when we left we were amazed at how everything was so clean, organised and such good value. Superb greeting on arrival, so helpful.

The welcome was outstanding, very helpful with support as my son is blind and autistic. The set up meant that we weren’t tied to meal times etc and that was perfect for our need to have flexibility. Other guests were very sociable and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay, lovely room and lovely warm welcome. We will be back Llinos Jones

I booked a night here by accident as it was the first time I used the app *********** and realised my mistake a couple of hours later. I asked for a refund and they refused. *********** tried to help too to no avail. We didn't go but they still charged me the full amount. We would have considered going there in the future but not now.

Super experience at the Lawns yesterday, Quasim a polite professional and caring host, parked our car for 16 days. Nice secure location and stayed overnight upon our return to UK. Clean comfortable room. Super fresh breakfast of poached eggs on toast and filter coffee. Plenty of other items for those who want cereal and fruit etc. most definitely stay again when flying from Gatwick which is 5 mins away. Thank you for looking after snowy 😊

Comfortable guest house. I had a large double room with en-suite. Then don’t serve breakfast but instead have fully equipped kitchens so you can cook your own. Good parking. Ideally situated for the town of Retford & beyond. Would thoroughly recommend.

I could not fault this guest house, the rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and all at an affordable price. There is plenty of parking & the location is great as it is only ten minutes walk into the town centre. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful large room with lots of storage space, the shower was superb. Everything was exceptionally clean. Easy 10 minute walk into centre of town, plenty of supermarkets, shops and eating places. Pleasantly surprised to find a well appointed kitchen with use of fridge, washer, cooker, microwave, crockery and cutlery. Good sized table and chairs. Knowing this we will definitely return next year and make use of these amenities.
