The hotel Dormero is surprising. The rooms are modern with an interesting bathroom solution. The reception is very hearty and also through it we've been happy to talk to Laura at the reception. We felt very well. Each hotel has pets that were in our case Bart-Agamen and we've liked to watch. We stayed at this hotel for four nights. The location of the hotel is very good. Very close to the centre. Check-in and check-out are very easy. Staff are helpful and welcoming. The hotel is quite old but very well maintained. We stayed in a comfort room. The size of the room and bathroom was sufficient. Room cleaning was excellent. Room cleaning was done every day and our towels were changed every day. The breakfast room is quite large. Breakfast variety was sufficient. There were also breakfast foods we are used to, especially olives and feta cheese. The lack of a kettle in the room was a shortcoming. We are generally satisfied with this hotel.

The train station is right by, and the bus is standing next to it. It is very convenient to travel, but it is quiet and not noisy at all. It may be the reason for the small city and the small population. The standard German breakfast is quite satisfactory and there is nothing to say.

My actual goal was a concert in Tübingen. However, the city hotel can be considered a cheaper alternative to the overpriced selection of hotels in Tübingen. There are cheap day tickets for public transport in the region. The hotel does not have its own parking spaces, but there are enough paid ones in the nearby parking garage. If you're lucky, you can even find a free one on the street from time to time. It's a 350-meter walk from the train station, 4-6 minutes. And there's a pedestrian zone, shopping, cafes and restaurants right in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel itself also has a good restaurant and wine bar/bar, and when the weather is nice, you can also dine outside. And for entertainment, if someone gets bored, they can analyze why there's a crack in the facade of the building opposite. The hotel is designed to be cheap and practical; a new building, so everything is modern. Without an elevator, you can't expect barrier-free access. But even the rooms on the 2nd floor are still easily accessible for most people. All are non-smoking rooms, from single to family rooms for up to five people.
