The part being rented out is a detached, i.e. separate guest house. The villa is located within 70 meters from the seafront and only 15 minutes walk from the bustling center where you will find The National Theatre, the main museums, art galleries, cinemas, coffee houses, restaurants, bars and the main shopping streets. The bustling center (Miðbær) is a 3 min bus ride away from the house but the bus stop is within 2 min walking distance from the house. The guest house is 76 m2 and is ideal for a couple or a family of four. The location offers fantastic walking and cycling routes along the sea front. There are two bicycles at the Guesthouse, free of charge for the guests. Within 15 minutes walk away there is a geothermal heated beach as well as swimming pools. Core of this house goes back to 1898 although updated in the forties and has recent new bathrooms. Two of the rooms are attic rooms while the third faces the garden and the fourth the street. Guests report their best sleep - especially in the attic although we "blame" it on the comfy beds and the wood core spirit in this house. Kitchen is full equipped but simple and basic. One bedroom with double bed and enough room for a mattress on the floor.
