Lindos Grand Resort & Spa - Adults Only

Ok hotel. Decent bed, nice infinity pool and very friendly staff. Couple of minor issues with people reserving sunbeds, bathroom door that had no lock. Furthermore, sea view was actually partial sea view.

The location is amazing, in a quiet corner of Vlycha beach, where it feels calmer and relaxing. It's also conveniently located at 10-min drive to Lindos town. The beach is just 3 mins away on foot. The hotel is very modern, has a new feel, very minimalistic which we like very much. This is an adult-only hotel which we prefer, so we really had more serene mood. Breakfast is fantastic, a lot of variety so we didn't get bored within the 5 days we were there. Dinner at one of the restaurants (Agistri) was great, the service was nice. The hotel also allowed us to check out late at 1pm (standard is 11am), which was nice because we booked a facial treatment at the spa at 1030am on day of check out because it was the only available one that morning. The shower was working perfectly, with a view of the pool and the sea. Our private pool was always clean and looks new. Housekeeping staff was also very friendly and did proper clean up. Opportunities to improve on: 1. The butler was not friendly at all, which is disappointing as he was the first person to greet guests at the lobby. We arrived at the front with our rental car, and he didn't even greet. He was quite aggressive when we asked where to park the car, and he simply pointed wherever vacant spot on the street we see. He was also responsible to walking us to our room with the luggage upon check in, and that was a few minutes of awkwardness too. 2. The check-in was a bit clumsy. Although the reception lady was really nice, he assisted us to check in via the hotel app (which we first had to download). That took some time when it was possible to simply check us in the normal way. I understand that the hotel wants to push the app to guests, but perhaps best to check in the normal way first THEN ask us to download the app afterwards. This way, it doesn't feel like: if we don't download the app, we cannot check in. Because in the end, we find the app helpful. We were in Lindos town one afternoon, and reserved our massage and dinner at the hotel via the app while there. 3. The room phone line did not function the whole time we were there. We reported it on day one, nothing happened. We had some questions that the app couldn't answer, and we always have to go to the reception to ask little questions, like how much the bottle of wine in the room costs, or if it's possible to do late check out. 4. One one night, we hang out at the pool bar and there was only one service staff. We had to wait for about half an hour to get our drinks, and he only passed by once to say it's coming though we can see the bar and no one is preparing anything. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and the value for money is worth it. We will come back again and recommend.

Stayed at The Lindos Grand Resort and Spa with family for just a week, at the end of the season, this is an adult only resort, which was pleasing. A very modern complex set right alongside the sea with wonderful views. Check in was very pleasant, a nice welcome drink and then everything was explained on an APP very nice friendly greeting. We were kindly upgraded to junior suites with lovely views, which were more likened to a small apartment, very modern, lovely open plan bathroom and excellent shower and amenities. Large comfortable bed and excellent WIFI. Very nice balcony but the furniture was a little uncomfortable. There were several options for dinner but we decided to choose the buffet in the main dinning room, this was plentiful with really good quality foods, very pleasant serving staff. Very large outdoor pool with plenty of sunbeds, as the week went on the whole place was like the ‘Mary Celeste’ with fewer people every day as it neared the end of the season. The indoor pool at the spa was large and warm with a hot whirlpool. Nice poolside bar for drinks and snacks. All in all a very nice relaxing break in a lovely hotel and perfect location, thanks to all the hard working staff.

This was our 4th visit to Lindos Grand, we first visited a week after it opened and as the years have passed it has been great to re-visit and see the changes to the hotel and its dining options. From the first year we visited we have always been extremely well looked after and each year it has been so lovely to return and see team members there we now consider friends and to meet new ones. This year was a trip with friends to celebrate my 50th birthday and we decided to have the main celebration meal at the hotel in Thalatta which was exceptional. Stavros Manousakis the Executive Chef met with us to discuss the menu and ensure our friend who was vegetarian was very well catered for and we had the most wonderful food from Saint Jacobs Scallops, Lobster, Tuna Tartare etc. The food we had in all the restaurants was faultless I would recommend anyone visiting to use the a la carte restaurants the sea food platter in the Fish Restaurant and the Truffle Arancini in the Italian were just a couple of highlights, you won't be disappointed and will be well looked after by Charis and Nikos and the rest of the team . We had a suite with a pool which we love for the quietness and exceptional views but we spent a good deal of time around the pool as we had friends with us, the infinity pool is huge and the addition of the cabanas was a great idea. We hired cabanas for our group on one of the days and it was worth the cost as it included some cocktails, water and choice of food per person from the bar menu, the bar menu food is excellent and very generous. The entire time we spent at the hotel we received great service from Elena who worked around the pool and looked after us in the cabanas. Oretsis in the bar made incredible Negronis! We had the pleasure of being looked after in the bar at night by the gorgeous Yulia who always made sure we had what we needed and drinks were replenished quickly and also Manolis. It was great to see Tasos was still there we are very fond of him, it was great to catch up with him. To Georgios, thank you for helping us plan this celebration, you and Stavros always make our trips so special and I don't doubt we will return again. Please pass on our love and thanks to all the team from reception (Caterina etc) to the buggy team (who were always on hand to ferry us around!) and all the others mentioned who made the trip so special. We were a party of 3 adults and the stay at Lindos Grand Resort & SPA was really an unforgettable experience. The hotel was everything we had hoped for and more. From the moment we checked in until the moment we departed they ensured we had everything we needed. The trip was a surprise for my father’s 60th birthday and the hotel offered a complimentary birthday mini cake accompanied by Happy Birthday as well as a bottle of Prosecco to the room to make him feel very special on his birthday. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, there was a good variety of food and the rooms were modern and clean. Beds were comfy and big and the whole hotel had quite an intimate atmosphere. There were a few very friendly kitties on site which was a plus. Public pebble beach is next to the hotel but the hotel has its own separate private area with comfy sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge for the guests (water shoes recommended). The infinity pool has lovely views over Vlicha Bay and every night there is live music and every other day there is complimentary morning yoga. The central location is also perfect making it a great base for exploring all parts of the island. I could keep on writing but I’m sure you get what I’m trying to say by now - this hotel deserves 10 out of 5 stars 😊 To the whole Lindos Grand team - from the front desk personnel, restaurant staff, cleaning team to SPA therapists & lovely hotel kitties - BIG thank you for making our trip to Rhodes exceptional. The massage provided by Veneta was outstanding! Also very good breakfast, and our room was changed as we didn't like the original one. Very friendly stuff, nice big pool with great ocean view, great location right next to Lindos. Don't miss renting a boat for 4h. Most recommended! Right on the beach of the hotel.
