I wasn’t sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the “hotel” part of the hostel. I think this is very good value, especially considering the other options in the town. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Pretty basic in terms of decor/furnishings… but the beds were comfortable and that’s what matters! The Washroom is much more hostile than hotel, reminded me of summer camp or a dorm room. But it was private, and clean. There was only one chair for lounging, but that was fine for us since we were out walking around, enjoying the town/region, and eating some delicious meals in nearby restaurants. There is no elevator to the second floor where we stayed, so that might be an issue for some people. We had a room overlooking the canal, and the sun came in in the afternoon, it was quite beautiful. Although there was construction going on right outside our window by the looks of it, we were there on a weekend and weren’t bothered by it. Breakfast was Danish style, self serve. A variety of breads, meats, cheeses. Hard boiled eggs. Yoghurt and muesli. Juice, coffee and tea. Good value, worth what they charge. We were there on a weekend so parking was free. I noticed that the hostel rents bicycles, which I wish we had done.

Ostello molto accogliente. Parcheggio gratuito intorno alla struttura (chiedete in reception per non sbagliare perchè molti sono a pagamento). Cucina in comune ben attrezzata e pulita. Bellissima vista dalla nostra camera. Purtroppo non ha ascensore e le lenzuola sono a pagamento 80DKK a persona (10€ circa). Nel complesso bene!

In 5 Minuten ist man von hier zu Fuß im alten Stadtzentrum oder auch in einem von mehreren Supermärkten. Es gibt eine große Küche für die Gäste und viele Möglichkeiten, sich für ein Mittag- oder Abendessen hinzusetzen - auch draußen, in einem Innenhof. Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen! So etwas Reichhaltiges und Gutes haben wir selbst in professionellen Hotels selten bekommen, geschweige denn zu diesem Preis. Unsere Zimmer waren geräumig und recht modern ausgestattet, mit guten Leselampen und USB-Ladesteckdosen an jedem Bett. Die Bäder sind klein aber sehr zweckmäßig und sehr sauber. Wir würden jedem einen Halt in diesem Hostel empfehlen. Auch als "Basislager" für weitere Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Fahrräder gibt es hier zum Beispiel auch zu mieten, was wir allerdings nicht gebraucht haben. Zudem gibt es eine große Sporthalle mit Kletterwand und vielem anderen mehr, die man nutzen kann.

Das Danhostel ist vom Bahnhof Ribe aus gut zu Fuss erreichbar und bis zum Stadtzentrum sind es nur wenige Minuten. Wir waren in einem geräumigen, sehr sauberen Zimmer mit eigenem Bad, TV und schöner Aussicht. Sogar Ohrstöpsel waren vorhanden; diese brauchten wir jedoch nicht, weil es sehr ruhig im Hostel war. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend (bis 9:30 Uhr; Marmelade, Nutella, Knäckebrot - alles hausgemacht). Auch die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Emplacement idéal à l'entrée de la ville, (petit) parking gratuit derrière l'établissement, chambre calme, espace adapté pour 4 personnes, sdb propre, cuisine collective. Accueil souriant en anglais.

Molto efficiente e carino per essere un ostello, ma al nord avevo letto che hanno standard molto alti, sicuramente diversi da quello che potremmo trovare in Italia o al sud Europa e questo gli fa onore. Colazione abbondante e buonissima con prodotti locali e pane fatto in casa. Letto comodo, bagno un po’ spartano anche se abbastanza pulito. Posizione comoda a due passi dal centro e per gite giornaliere (es. Fanø). Ovviamente essendo un ostello la camera non la puliscono tutti i giorni e, anzi, al check out sono gli ospiti a dover passare la stanza con l’aspirapolvere e buttare la propria spazzatura. Che alla fine ci sta.

Auberge très bien située, propre, moderne et bien tenue. Plutôt fréquentée par des familles et des seniors. Chambre familiale (pour 5) très bien agencée, avec salle de bain privée. Cuisine commune très bien équipée et propre. Possible de manger dedans ou dehors. Salle de jeux pour enfants (jouets et déguisements), bac à sable, baby-foot, ping-pong, billard, gymnase, mur d’escalade… Petit-déjeuner danois classique, un peu limité à notre goût surtout pour les jeunes enfants. Prix un peu élevé si on ajoute le petit-déjeuner et les draps mais c’est la norme au Danemark et je pense que cela reste la meilleure solution d’hébergement, surtout en famille.
