We had a really pleasant stay. The room was huge. One of the air conditioning units didn't work, but the other one did. We simply pushed the mattress under the one that worked. The bathroom was relatively clean, and there was WiFi. The outdoor area was well-kept and there is even direct access to the Atlantic. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was well-balanced and delicious.

Large complex by the sea 2 or 3 km from the center. Very warm welcome / attentive and accommodating staff (for breakfast for example). sea view room with balcony. Very pleasant seawater swimming pool and at the top a dike built in front allows you to swim in the protected sea. The hotel was empty but that didn't bother us. I recommend the restaurant: very good and plentiful dishes. At this price I recommend.

Hotel right on the water, a magnificent view, very pleasant and kind staff. The hotel is very clean, it is a place that I recommend +++ I will come back with pleasure. Liliane at reception is exceptionally kind. The hotel shuttle allows you to go to Praia, and the driver despite the language barrier is very nice. Note not knowing how to speak Portuguese or English, the staff does their best, it's really great.

I spent a nightmarish week at the Vulcao hotel, dirty toilet, critters everywhere, even in my bed, none of the services offered were available, I asked to change rooms, this was only done The day before I left, and I found the bathroom flooded in this new room, but the icing on the cake was when I caught the cleaning lady going through my things. The Vulcao is 20 minutes from the next town and has probably seen better days. The rooms are OK, but the rest of the hotel looks very run down. All the pool loungers were broken or torn. The dining room had the charm of a train station hall from days gone by. The breakfast was poor.
