This Residence Inn has many good features: 1. It is immaculate. 2. The shower has hot water and good water pressure. 3. The two women staffers on the front desk Dec. 25 and 26 were exceptionally helpful. 4. The windows make the rooms soundproof. We did not hear a peep from the busy highway outside. 5. An excellent bookstore two doors away 6. Many restaurants on the sane cobblestone block. Tiny improvements would include: 1. Having the one-bedroom accommodations most Residence Inns have. 2. Upgrading the breakfast a tiny bit with vanilla or plain yogurt and sliced bread to toast. Know before you arrive that the Courtyard and Residence Inn( both Marriott brands) share an entrance and a reception desk so you will not think you are in the wrong place when you arrive.

The hotel was very nice. Customer service was excellent! The one person who stood out to us was Cliff. He’s amazing! Always had a smile. His laugh is contagious! He takes the time out of his busy day to make you smile! I would recommend this just for him!

We have stayed here on a number of occasions when we visit family in RVA. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Hint: DO NOT accept a room facing the treet with the bars (Sine?), which play loud music until all hours. Made that mistake only once! This stay was also nice and Ciff the valet was a highlight!

Super convenient location. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The parking attendants are especially helpful and kind. Cliff was great at making me feel comfortable and helping find a coffee shop! He is an asset greeting guests and being the first face guests see at the Marriot

Beware the loud music across the street! Stayed here on a weekend in November. Friday night was fine, but Saturday we couldn't get to sleep until the restaurant (Sine) across the street ended their all night music at 2am. Found out that VCU students party there on the weekends. Hotel knows about it being a problem, but hopes you just deal with it if it bothers your stay. Asked for a refund the next morning and was told - no. Stay at your own risk.

I had a great experience. Great recommendations and service especially from the front desk from Naomi and Tahmari. 10/10 would come back. The rooms were clean and the hotel had a great ambiance. Close to great food and vibes. Thanks for everything!

I love this hotel. Everyone was great the staff was awesome. The valet Cliff H. Was funny, respectful, always giving a complement to guests, very socialize always want to help even you do not even ask. Thank you Cliff H I call him TI the rapper, he sort of have a resemblance even tho he does not want to admit it. ❤️❤️❤️ thank you

I recently stayed at this hotel with my team, and we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained our room was. A special thanks to our valet, Morgan, who went above and beyond by providing a list of nearby restaurants. Tacos & Tequila and Lulu were hits! Her exceptional service made our stay truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!
