Hotel Argentina is the best! We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking Riomaggiore and view of the Gulf of Genoa. The lovely hostess made homemade breakfast bread which was delicious! I left my raincoat and hoodie in their lobby on the last day of our visit and the staff found my clothing and mailed back to me! I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the hotel staff and owners. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and strong shower in the renovated bathroom. We were glad that the nearby elevator near the church was working so the climb back and forth town was doable. The rates are reasonable and this hotel is in a great location for the money.

Perfect location, perfect for 2 people, memorable trip and happy to see the room we stayed in, on post cards! There's steep stairs but manageable to get up/down with luggage. Easy check in after hours. Kind of loud if people are drinking outside, but calming when you hear the water.

I was in this structure in August with my husband, I guess it is a widely used hotel because it has several accommodations all shortly from the small reception! The staff is young and very available as well as laughing and gentle (jobs compliments!). Our room was profumed, clean and comfortable with all the services needed for a holiday at the five Earth (mini refrigerator, boiler, WiFi and also the wires to stretch the dressing out of the ligaries window!!!) The breakfast was not available, but it was not a problem given the great offer of bars and restaurants nearby! Finally, very important note is the possibility of booking with the hotel (payment) parking near the structure. When I come back to visit the wonderful five Earths I will certainly stay here again!

Alla Marina, Riomaggiore. What can I say. This place was a dream. The city was a dream. The owners were incredible. They met us at the train. They gave excellent referrals for restaurants and the sunset boat cruise we did, which was probably the coolest thing we did anywhere and that’s saying A LOT. The owners family started building the villa in 1252. And they explained the history of the stairs behind all the villas were built so people could flee from the Saracen’s. So, yeah, wow!!! The room was lovely and right on the marina. The sounds out the window were amazing and just immersive in the culture. So cool. The view out both rooms was fantastic. The Villa was perfectly located with quick access to town a the marina. Your thoughts about stairs there were right on. Everywhere you go there are hills and stairs. There are no vehicle transport options really, but the train is right in town and it’s very quick trip to La Spezia and Manarola. WE LOVED OUR TIME THERE, but people should know about the stairs and walking involved staying there. It was great for us - good weight loss plan to counteract the pasta😂
