The location is unreal. It is just beautiful from every angle— from the floor to ceiling windows, and balcony views from our room, to the view from the infinity pool. The staff gets an A+ for their engagement, friendly actions, and kindness. My husband enjoyed a 75-minute massage, and I enjoyed both a massage and a facial. Interestingly, we both reported a different review of our experiences, but all was lovely. A board is posted in the lobby where you can sign up for all kinds activities from yoga to guided hikes or e-bike rides, Pilates and more. Three saunas are located in the woods, and although we did not make use of them, we went to look, and they were fabulous. The sign for no bathing suits allowed for one of the saunas needs to be larger! The food is incredible. They serve a buffet style with hot made-to-order entrées for breakfast and lunch of a buffet, meats, salads, hot dish and desserts. Dinner is multicourse feast with so many options. The servers, particularly our server Anika, are so knowledgeable; we enjoyed several wine tastings with Anika’s guidance. Wines and beers are available at lunch, and a bartender provides beautiful mixed drinks in the early evening prior to the dinner time. This is a fabulous hotel experience, and we wished we had planned more time to stay!

Just returned from a 4-night stay at this lodge. It was overall pleasant with a few things amiss. First the good: - The view from the lodge is absolutely gorgeous, a perfectly serene place to relax and we were blissfully happy sitting on the deck (we booked a jr chalet) doing nothing and just letting our eyes drink the view in. - The food is so wonderful!! I was especially impressed by dinner, each night they had a different 4-course menu (always with two options for each course except the dessert), as well as a couple fixed menus, and we could order from whichever menu and mix/match as we wished (and everything was included in the stay). The dishes were all creative and delicious and we almost always tried to order one of everything, this was definitely a highlight of my stay and something I looked forward to each night. The servers were always attentive to our needs and good with remembering our preferences, which is an added plus. Now the things I wished were different in our trip: - There's no AC. At our request the staff brought a fan to our room which helped a little, but still, the room was quite hot and stuffy for the days we were there at noon and during the afternoon (high temperature were in the 30C's/80-90s F). Perhaps it's because the heatwave has made recent days an anomaly? - Laundry service was broken for the first few days we were there, which was an inconvenience. - On our checkout day I unfortunately woke up with a lower fever, we called the front desk asking if there might be any Tylenol/medication for fever, 20min later someone came to my room saying they'd send something in half an hour, but until we checked out (which was like 2 hours later) no one came. This was disappointing especially compared to other hotels of similar star-level/pricing that I had experienced in the past.

The moment you arrive, the property aesthetics make you feel relaxed & pampered. The chalets are nothing but spectacular (super comfortable bed and great amenities) and afford you the chance to enjoy nature. The food is amazing and the staff is super-attentive and engaging. It's clear they love where they work and they love taking care of their guests. The pool is indulgent and the views are spectacular. Loved that the local transportation (train, gondola) is included in the amenities. The e-bikes are a nice touch, too. Would definitely recommend and return!

The staff was incredibly nice and inviting. The rooms were cozy and clean. The workout facility and spa was great. The food was 10/10. Awesome stay!

If you’re after a beautiful, perfectly relaxing break with wonderful scenery and delicious food, this is the hotel for you. I came here to stay for a few days in February and I was totally blown away by everything about this place. The photos on their website, while beautifully artistic, simply do not do the views of the stunning Dolomites or the hotel’s fantastic architecture or interiors justice. Please bear that in mind when booking - I promise you will get here in person and be amazed. The views are incredible from every part of the hotel - whether you’re gazing out from the lobby and bar area, the restaurant, the heated infinity pool, the range of suites and chalets, the sauna area in the first - you will find what you see simply stunning. It will take your breath away, and it is so relaxing. I was in a junior suite and it was very comfortable, with a large balcony and extremely spacious bathroom. The dinners are superb and definitely the food highlight. For dietary reasons, I couldn’t try the popular ‘farm to table’ menu, which stays the same all week, but I did enjoy the food from the other menu, where you get a choice of two for every course and which changes daily. They do take into account some dietary requirements in advance - you just need to let them know. Really delicious food, good portions that don’t leave you feeling uncomfortably full and optional wine pairings if you want. Food and drink at this hotel is all inclusive, so you can drink whatever you want while you are here. Lunch runs for a long time each day, from 1-5pm, and you normally get offered a hot dish plus soup there, and then an array of charcuterie and salads, plus desserts. It’s great that lunch goes on for so long, as it means you can drop by after a long day hiking and still get some food in before dinner. Breakfast is strong and also has a good selection, especially on the continental side - lots of cakes, pastries and fruit plus nice variety of juices. I loved the juices! However, I’m a typical Brit, so the one thing I would change about breakfast would be to have the cooked food as a buffet option - as you have to order them from a menu and then they are brought to your table by a waiter. I would personally prefer to be able to get my scrambled eggs, bacon, crepes etc from a hot buffet selection. But I presume I’m in the minority as this is not how the hotel prefers to do things! Staff are really friendly across the hotel, and always happy to help you with any enquiries. I couldn’t drink alcohol when I was there, but one of the bar staff made me a fantastic strawberry and raspberry mocktail each day. The spa is a very relaxing space. There’s a dedicated relaxation room with views of the mountains, perfect for curling up with a book, the heated outdoor infinity pool and two forest saunas.
