We had a beautiful view of the mountain, the pool is small and scary - we did not swim in it. The location is good - close to everything, we were not noisy because the view is not of the water but of the mountains. There is a restaurant downstairs of the hotel, if the windows are there it will be noisy. Overall ok for this money

We stayed in the Europa in 2019 and it was excellent so rebooked this year. Hotel is in a perfect situation and was clean and comfortable. However, the food was very disappointing, unimaginative and not worthy of a 4 star hotel! No salad buffet, I don’t expect to get lumpy mashed potato, frozen vegetables and slightly over cooked fish! Last time the food was wonderful with lovely desserts which you selected from a buffet. Not so this time, poor choice and a lot of cake with squirty cream. The restaurant staff were inexperienced and I agree with another reviewer who described the restaurant manager as brusque, we found him downright rude on occasions, not attentive. Sorry but although we had a lovely holiday, I’m afraid we won’t book again!

Our second time visiting this lovely hotel right in the centre of Riva del Garda. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good food.

Great location and lovely dining room overlooking the harbour. Rooms are clean, but are dark and disappointing. Only basic facilities and no toiletries. Food is mixed - mainly poor with little choice. Staff are rude. No sense of what good service looks like. Bar does not open.

The location and cleanliness in the hotel was very good and mostly the food was good. However the staff did not seem to be organised well and the restaurant manager was very off hand and brusque. The younger staff were more polite and helpful but were not adequately led. Service at dinner was rushed and chaotic at times. Breakfast was better with good variety. Disappointed no hot drinks available during the day from the reception area or a bar serving cold drinks. Usually a 4 star hotel would have a bar and at least a self serve coffee machine available for guests and water via a dispenser. Rooms good and cleaned well each day.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Room is hot and uncomfortable and they won't put A/C on. No bar, told to walk down the road to get a drink and not allowed to bring it back to hotel Staff pretty clueless. The only thing that saves this place is the location.
