I don't usually write reviews but my husband and I had such a magical time here that I had to show my appreciation in some small way. I researched for weeks trying to find a farm like this one to visit on our trip to the Maremma region in October 2024. Agriturismo Bio Aia della Colonna did not disappoint. First off, the location is stunning. Remote enough to feel like a true getaway but also close to the hot springs in Saturnia and several beautiful small towns to wander around and get lost in, like Pitigliano and the Vie Cave. If you like amazing food and are interested in where it comes from, Roberta and her family raise all the breeds of livestock I was most eager to see: the ancient Cinta Senese pigs, Amiata sheep (a rare local breed), and the famed Maremmana cattle. It was also fascinating to see their trio of Maremma sheepdogs in action. Roberta is a wonderful host who goes out of her way to ensure her guests are happy. My only complaint about this enchanting Tuscan retreat is that we had to leave it so soon.

Location molto bella immersa nelle colline della Maremma forse un po’ troppo isolata. Bella la piscina che purtroppo non abbiamo potuto utilizzare in quanto è stato un weekend all’insegna del fresco pungente. Camera spaziosa tipica di un agriturismo toscano. Pulizia rivedibile. Abbiamo fatto la mezza pensione dato che si trova lontana dai primi paesi e la strada per arrivarci è pessima specialmente per le moto. Abbiamo mangiato comunque bene.

Agriturismo che sicuramente consiglierò in futuro. Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dagli affettuosi gatti e dai cani dell'agriturismo, e dalla simpatica proprietaria. Cucina assolutamente eccezionale, il posto è tranquillissimo ed immerso nella natura. E' un po' isolato e le strade per arrivarci non sono il massimo, ma questa parte della Toscana è fatta cosi e bisogna metterlo in conto

Excellent endroit, dans la campagne, Toscane, les chambres superbe ,piscine vu sur la campagne Toscane sublime ,un havre de paix ,repas du soir à la ferme tout maison sublime ,vente produits locaux ,aucune fausse notes , je dirais simplement la route pour y accéder,à accès escarpé. La patronne Roberta top du top merci

Location spettacolare e proprietaria veramente gentile e disponibile oltre che ottima cuoca. Le camere, arredate semplicemente e con gusto sono spaziose, calde, molto pulite e luminose; come anche il bagno che è ampio e dotato di tutto il necessario. Le colazioni sono un tripudio di dolci buonissimi fatti in casa e, se ci si vuole fermare a cena, il menù varia giornalmente. Tutti i prodotti sono freschissimi e a km zero. Consigliatissimo!!!!!!!

Ottima vacanza trascorsa per ferragosto, posto molto tranquillo e molto accogliente. Veramente bella la posizione e la piscina, molto cordiale la titolare, anche le stanze sono pulite e belle l'unica cosa che si può dire è che si sentono molto bene i rumori e le voci delle stanze vicine. Ottima la colazione in veranda la mattina. Veramente consigliato.
