We spent 2 nights there and were very disappointed. Let's start with the goo; the room was big and clean. There was a large counter in the bathroom, and the staff was all friendly. The location was excellent, and there was lots to tasty things to choose from for breakfast. Now for the bad. The AC wasn't strong enough to keep the room cool. Spoke with the front desk after we checked in and they said they'd look into it. Got back to the hotel around 11 pm, and no change in temp. Slept with the window open, which helped a bit. Talked with the front desk the next morning, and again, that night no change. And, it wasn't only our room. The room was nothing like the pictures. All the furniture was pink painted wood, and had 2 singles put together instead of a king, which was OK. I went to the front desk to see if they could break a 20 Euro bill and the guy said they only had 50 and 100 Euro bills. REALLY??? For what we paid at other hotels in Sicily and Calabria, this was not worth it.

I went to the hotel Mediterráneo over 25 years ago and it still looks the same! By American standards this is like a motel nothing special about the hotel itself do you have a room and a main hallway That’s it ! I was there to visit family so it provided us what we needed which was a clean bed to sleep in for the time that we were there… However I would not recommend especially if you like air conditioning I know Europe has this thing against air-conditioning but they kept insisting there was AC on … end it certainly did not feel like it! 25 years later there are much nicer places to stay in Roccella Ionica … most of the action is down at the other end of the beach … there was a great restaurant on the beach though and I would highly recommend it!

Nous sommes très déçus de l’hôtel, car nous avions réservé deux chambres. en arrivant il n’en restait qu’une car il y avait un groupe qui occupait l’hôtel ! Ce sont les explications du réceptionniste. Notre chambre était inaccessible dû à un problème de serrure bien connu. Il nous ont proposé une chambre de réserve qui était certe propre mais tout simplement horrible . Nous avons accepté car il était tard et étions fatigués.Il y avait un événement important cette nuit là et impossible de trouver autre chose. Le matin nous avons eu des excuses minimes de la part du directeur et aucun geste commercial. Nous avons payé 94€ pour la chambre de réserve et 72€pour l’autre chambre un peu moins horrible. Je ne suis pas médisante mais je relate les faits réels. Absolument désolant !

Ottimo hotel, tutto ben tenuto, appare recentemente rinnovato, funzionante ed efficiente. Personale molto cordiale. Molto vicino alla spiaggia e a negozi e stazione ferroviaria. Decisamente da consigliare.

hotel comodo e posizione fantastica al centro di Roccella. Ottima la pulizia, camere semplici e confortevoli. Colazione eccezionale: abbondante e con vasta scelta tra dolce e salato. Personale davvero gentile e simpatico. Torneremo sicuramente! consigliatissimo!

Invitati da amici abbiamo soggiornato presso l'hotel Mediterraneo . Personale all'accoglienza gentile e disponibile. Camera fresca e pulita. Tavolo buffet, ricco e abbondante compresa frutta e con ottime torte fatte in casa dalla gentile sig Rina. Molto gentile il personale . Situato in centro di Roccella, con alle spalle il castello medievale e a 2 passi dal lungomare , spiaggia di sabbia fine e chiara con lidi attrezzati e libera . Perciò più che CONSIGLIATO .

Sono cliente, ci vado ogni volta che mi trovo in Calabria anche se e' distante dalle mie destinazioni, ottimo in tutto dalla zona relax all'ingresso, la profumazione in ogni angolo della struttura, pulizia, colazione, riguardo il personale e il direttore molto soddisfatto per disponibilità, cordialita, gentilezza, professionalità. Eccellente qualità/prezzo, dalle camere normali alla suite che ha bottiglia e panorama (perfetta per le coppie). Da tornarci presto.
