Very scenic location and a fascinating old boat. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. Breakfasts are superb. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs as noise from the motorway starts at 5 in the morning. Very good pub, the White Horse, in walking distance with excellent food (try the Kentish smokies), good beer, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

The old ship has been lovingly converted into a highly original accommodation, the surrounding water has an immediately calming effect (despite the motorway bridge nearby!), and you can experience the change between high and low tide. The couple who own it are very nice, and because the two rooms are located separately on the upper deck, you don't have the feeling of intruding into someone else's private space, as in some other B&Bs. The breakfast is very plentiful. Highly recommended!
