One of our favorites get-away spots. Beautiful views, clean accommodations, convenient amenities and great staff to work with. We return here every year and would recommend it to anyone. Close proximity to some wonderful restaurants and charming stores. Be sure to visit the Cheese Shop in Stuart’s Draft and Smiley’s Ice Cream near Mount Crawford.

Making the reservation for the mountain view cabin was easy. I wanted the breakfast option and grilled steak dinner option and it was easily applied to the reservation. Arrived at the cabin the next day and all the food was already in the refrigerator. The cabin was new and had huge windows with incredible views. There was a new gas grill on the porch and a hot tub already preheated! We stayed the weekend and fell in love with the place! Highly recommend!

A wonderful get away with the hubby! This is our third visit to STM and our first stay in one of their cabins. They give the same attention to detail for the cabin as they do the Manor House. The view is calm, the hot tub is relaxing, and the stone fireplace is cozy. The bed is super comfortable. Everything is super clean. The kitchen is well stocked. I highly recommend STM. You will not be disappointed.

This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and Steeles Tavern Manor did not disappoint! As a matter of fact, the hospitality and beautiful surroundings and interior of the inn far exceeded our expectations! Breakfast was absolutely delicious and Sandra kindly took our preferences into consideration. The room was gorgeous and quiet, the bed comfortable (loved the jaulcuzzi tub!) and the grounds lovely. Additionally, the inn is close by the entrance to the Blue Ridge parkway. An absolute 10 out of 10 stay.

The Steeles Tavern Manor is a beautiful B&B Inn in the Shenandoah Valley. It is very clean and has up to date bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas while maintaining the charm of being a 100-year old building. Innkeepers Sandra and Neil were very helpful in helping us select things to do and other places to dine in the area. We hiked Crabtree Falls Trail, at their suggestion, which was perfect. The breakfast at the B&B was fabulous. We look forward to a return visit.

We really appreciated the excellent customer service. We had a small issue with one of the cabins and Sandra was very attentive and resolved it quickly. This a great location if you want to spend some time hiking either in Shenandoah or some hikes outside of the park within 40 minutes drive.

Beautiful home and grounds with welcoming common areas and tasty food! Stand-out features were the high quality towels and bedding, pool area and outdoor spaces, lovely Staunton Suite with deluxe shower and 2 stand-alone sinks. Very quiet and loved the little sitting area in our room with a fireplace and mini-frig. Had a great sleep followed by good local coffee in the morning. Enjoyed meeting the caretakers, who were friendly and responsive. Hope to return!

Gorgeous setting in the valley. Beautiful manor and property. Excellent personalized service! Dana is amazing. 5-star quality breakfasts. I love all the extra services you can add during your stay. Even if you don’t add anything extra to your stay it’s amazing. Dana and Trey are the best innkeepers I’ve ever met.

Rooms The rooms are all very tastefully decorated and clean as a whistle. Nearby activities First, the general area is beautiful - good mountain areas very close by. We hiked a gorgeous trail with the highest vertical drop waterfalls east of the Mississippi! And the Rockbridge Vineyard is close by - we were there on Sunday afternoon and there was wine tasting (from which you can choose and open a bottle) and live music… it was at the vineyard and very fun. Safety Very safe environment… no concerns at all. Noteworthy details The breakfasts were really good - with great coffee and expresso. My wife had what she called “the best massage of my life”. And while she did that, I enjoyed a very educational and fun bourbon tasting - with outrageously good bourbons. I promptly came home and started my own collection. All in all it was very nice, very clean, and just a great vibe. Decent sized towns are within 20-30 minutes drive, so this location is a great place to settle in and explore surrounding areas. Highly recommended!!
