Szidónia Castle

We have visited the hotel several times before and this time we were very disappointed. The food was very poor, the evening menus were simply bad. The beef cheek wasn’t made of beef cheek, was of v poor fatty beef, and all dishes ( Gulyas, stew, etc.. were all made out of that very poor beef. Basically inedible. The rest of the dishes were bland, boring. Although we paid for half board, we ended ip going to Sopron twice to avoid having to choose from the very same boring menu. The pool facilities are very nice, that ‘saved’ the game. The room is spacious but has no drawers, one cannot put things away and it was also cold. Asked for the heating to be turned up, they simply denied it. People Were Nice but v few of them, always had to look for service.
