My partner and I recently stayed at Hotel Cervia. Whilst the is establishment is listed as a Hotel Not a Hotel, it’s a Hostel and this was confirmed by Locals. We would have moved Hotels, if we could have found one for the same period, that wasn’t going to cost us too much more money. The Photos they’ve posted, Do Not match the rooms in reality. The rooms are very small, with nowhere for luggage. The Domestic Staff don’t know how to actually make a bed because they don’t tuck the end of the bed in because they use too much for the turn back. The bathroom is so tiny, shower is even smaller (see photo) and despite closing the shower curtain water gets all over the floor and there wasn’t enough space to actually use the toilet, if you are over 5’7”, thankfully there was a Shared Bathroom on our floor, we both used it if needed or tried to find a clean public restroom.. We had to ask for Towels on at least one occasion and for the first 2 days didn’t have a hand towel. There is no Fridge or Tea/Coffee facilities in the room and they don’t subscribe to any TV Channels so you barely get 1/5 of the channels and even then it’s terrible reception. The window didn’t shut either, so with the restaurants/bars close by, we didn’t really get to sleep until midnight or later, so not really suitable for Families. I also have some mobility issues and we didn’t see anything stating no elevator or Not Suitable for people with Mobility issues. Save your money and book elsewhere.

The location is strategic for visiting the city...excellent price for the room; breakfast needs improvement, room quite clean, towels changed every day! I repeat, the location and the price are its strong point. All the staff are kind

Very clean hotel, for families, a few steps from the subway, very kind owner prepared an itinerary of the city for us, we slept very well, excellent breakfast in a welcoming breakfast room.

The hotel is certainly not bad for that price. It is run by young people and looks more like a hostel. Simple but good breakfast. Only... the bathroom was unclean when we arrived and it stayed that way. They really need to clean it better. The curtains also came loose from the rod. Otherwise good value for money

One star hotel, so no pretensions for its function. Pros: Excellent proximity to the station and the subway with Termini or Castro Pretorio stops. Very polite and helpful staff. Cons: Cleanliness first and foremost. We arrived and noticed the presence of dust balls along the walls that accompanied us in the living room until departure, I will not comment on the residues under the slippers. No one informed us upon arrival that the radiators were off and that we would need the remote control for the air conditioning that they have to activate from the reception, so the first night we were cold. The shower does not drain, even though we reported the problem, taking a shower was a problem due to the tray filling up.

Excellent location. Good value for money. Easy access to all points of interest. Sandra served us excellently. Very friendly. I would definitely go back. The breakfast was very rich and complete. Coffee, pastries, toast.

I had spotted this hotel on FB and called and I was very impressed by Mrs. Sandra's helpfulness, even if I didn't book at the time I put it aside for a future getaway to Rome. Then this month I managed to book and I must say it's a simple hotel with minimal breakfast but for the price I paid it's all there, I must say it's in a very central area, and then Mrs. Sandra was very kind and helpful, we'll definitely be back.

Ho avuto una brutta esperienza in questo hotel e, purtroppo, non posso consigliarlo. Alla mia arrivata, la stanza non era affatto in buone condizioni. Le coperte erano tutte bucate, un aspetto davvero inaccettabile per una struttura che dovrebbe offrire il massimo del comfort. Inoltre, i muri della stanza erano visibilmente crepati, il che conferiva un’impressione di trascuratezza e di scarsa manutenzione. Mi aspettavo un ambiente più accogliente, ma la polvere era accumulata su mobili e superfici, rendendo l'ambiente poco igienico. Questo è un aspetto che trovo particolarmente negativo, soprattutto considerando che la pulizia è uno degli aspetti più importanti in un hotel. A peggiorare la situazione, ho notato anche un buco evidente sulla porta della stanza, che non solo rovina l’aspetto estetico, ma fa sorgere dubbi sulla sicurezza e sull’attenzione ai dettagli da parte della gestione. Nel complesso, la struttura necessiterebbe di urgenti lavori di ristrutturazione per renderla accogliente e confortevole. È davvero un peccato, perché l’hotel potrebbe avere un grande potenziale se venisse curato adeguatamente. Mi aspettavo sicuramente di più, considerando il prezzo pagato per il soggiorno.
