In Rome for an audience with St. Peter, granted by Pope Francis to pilgrims returning from the Camino de Santiago, we found this lovely hotel, located near the walls and the Vatican Museums; the hotel can be reached from Termini station, using the subway line A, direction Battistini, Ottaviano stop, and then walking a few hundred meters. The external door is generally closed, and you have to ring to be let in; once inside, you access the small concierge (open 24 hours a day), and you are welcomed by the very kind staff, who proved to be generous with information and very efficient throughout the entire stay. Our room was on the third floor (with elevator). The room was sufficiently spacious, equipped with a comfortable bed, a large desk, a large wardrobe, with a safe inside; clean environment, which was tidied up daily. Comfortable and very clean bathroom, equipped with soft towels (changed daily), hairdryer, and the usual amenities. Some problems with the heating regulation (too hot for us), which was managed and set via computer by the concierge; the solution was simple and immediate, with a simple phone call to the staff on duty. Very peaceful sleep, thanks to good sound insulation. Possibility of leaving luggage in storage, which we took advantage of, given the departure of our train in the late afternoon. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, which we preferred to consume in a bakery not far from the hotel.
