It's not like a hotel, I mean it's like a house:) The owner welcome us and really friendly. He couldn't speak English very well even though try to make us understand!! He was so kind and friendly. There is a coffee and bread which he prepared for us. Room is clean, wifi is food, shower also good. It takes only about 15 min by train to Rome airport.

The owner of the B&B is really nice! The bread is delicious It's very close to the train station and very convenient to the airport. The room is very quiet. I will definitely choose to stay here next time I travel to Rome.

Great location, very close to the train station. Too bad about the welcome, I stayed outside for about 45 minutes trying to contact the hotel by phone, in the end a neighbor told me which bell to ring. Clean room and comfortable bed, shame about the other guests who made a lot of noise until midnight and from 6 in the morning.

The stay in this apartment was comfortable. The apartment is very nice and spacious, covered in stone. The bathroom is also well done. Too bad only for the WiFi signal which was intermittent. However I would recommend it for those who want to stay near via Portuense in Rome.

We arrived at around midnight and thereby received a scolding from the owner: Why are you so late? It was due to the bus arriving in Rome late and the very distant location of this homestay. Immediately, the owner demanded city tax in cash and not by card. I have been to Europe, but this was the only place I was asked to pay in cash. Maybe the owner can only tell why this is so! Then, as soon as we turned on the AC heating mode, MCB got turned off, and we were told by the owner that we couldn't do anything now; we needed to stay like this. They gave me a non-working heater to compensate, but it wasn't working. Most likely, the owner hasn't increased the load on their home, so this happened. Their bed was a sham as it was a temporary arrangement made by joining wooden logs, which was also broken. Shower wasn't working properly and neither had hot water coming up despite several of our requests. Since the owner wanted to go on vacation, she refused to keep our luggage for a few hours, which is a basic facility that all homestay owners provide. I had a terrible experience; please watch out.

I would have to rate this as a terrible travel experience. The price we paid was quite good ($61.60) through the Capital One Travel site, but I guess you get what you pay for. We just wanted a simple place that would be relatively close to FCO airport (Rome), and here was our experience. 1. Very hard to access - we came in from Florence that day and were a bit delayed. We go to the place, which we thought we be a hotel based on the Capital One Travel site, and it was a set of apartments, with a common, locked gate. We were a bit surprised at this and were puzzled how to get in. The travel reservation did not give a room number (apartment number in this case), and the phone number provided was not working. We were in a bit of panic at this point. We walked down the block to a local bar/restaurant (amBARabà caffe'), which we loved. As we were scrambling to reach the owner of the apartment, the owner of the restaurant ended up knowing her and was able to connect us, so we were eventually able to get checked in. 2. The owner of the property seemed nice enough, but she asked for 6 Euros per person (12 total) for the city tax. I recalled reading something about this in the reservation notes, but it struck me as high. When I looked later, the charge was supposed to be 3.50 Euros each, so we were overcharged 5 Euros for this. 3. The place was extremely basic but lacking in some essentials. The bed was a thin mattress laid upon a metal frame (no box spring), so it was pretty uncomfortable. 4. The place was extremely bare. The cupboard in the kitchen contained a single plate and a single glass! The TV was a 15-inch monitor (if that). See pictures. 5. As this is an apartment unit in a building where the units all look alike, this created another logistical challenge. Although very tired, I ventured out late to pick up a couple of drinks and a snack. When I returned, I discovered that all the doors looked essentially the same, with no special marking/unit name for this unit. The key itself gave no indication. I reviewed the itinerary I had been emailed, but it gave no information on the actual unit. I spent several minutes trying to find the right unit, worried that I was waking people as I tested the key. After several efforts in vain, I contacted the unit owner, who let me in, but she seemed furious to be bothered and could not comprehend the basic problem created by not communicating a unit number in her instructions or by simply showing this on the actual door or key. 6. While the place purports convenience to the airport, we had an extremely tough time with logistics. Taxis at the airport refuse to drive you to the place since it is not in the airport zone and is also not desirable for local taxis (cannot get a return fare). Overall, it is very inexpensive, but be warned that you are likely better off finding a place for a few more Euros that is more convenient logistically and better equipped.

I went to Rome with my son for a service, I booked this property because it was better positioned at the point where I had to go. overall the room was clean (the main thing) as were the sheets and pillows, with a fridge in the room, TV, air conditioning and free wi-fi. the kindness and courtesy of the owners, in the person of Mrs. Ilaria and her father, does not go into the background, it is really something to be taken into consideration as the main one. The only disagreeable thing is that nearby there is nothing where you can go if you haven't arrived by car and therefore be able to move around, but the positive thing is that just 10m away there is a supermarket that is always open where you can make a spending as you want because it is very well equipped in everything. Parking is located right outside the building or behind it and is free. Therefore I can only give a positive judgment on everything, indeed if it happens again to return to that area I can tell Ms. Ilaria that I will definitely stay there with her 100%. Until next time and thanks for everything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED STRUCTURE
