After I booked I read all the negative reviews on google and was really nervous. To my surprise, though, it was really pleasant! It is perfectly located near the Vatican and close to many restaurants. The Shuttle to the airport leaves right down the street. The room was very clean and tidy. There were no bedbugs and no stink. The TV had many channels, the AC worked fine in the hot summer days and the room was cleaned daily. The towels were changed every second day, but that was fine for me. I don't change my towel every day at home. It is better for the environment anyway. There is no reception, but we called and in no time the person was there to give us the keys. I would definately stay again.

My partner and I had a truly awful experience at Vatican Tourist Inn. We encountered bed bugs during our stay, which led to my partner having a severe allergic reaction to the bites. We were extremely distressed, especially as this was our first encounter with bed bugs. Here’s what happened: Dirty Room: Upon arrival, the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The duvet and pillows under the sheets were dirty, and the bathroom had hair on the floor. This was the first red flag. Bed Bugs: After the first night, my partner developed bite marks, and by the second night, the bites had become larger and more inflamed. I started inspecting the room and found bed bugs on the mattress. We were moved to a different room, but the damage was already done. Health Concerns: The existing bites worsened, and my partner’s allergic reaction was so severe that it almost required a hospital visit. While I was also bitten, my bites were not as severe, but still uncomfortable. We were forced to dry clean all of our clothes upon returning home to prevent further contamination. Unresponsive Management: I immediately contacted the property to report the issue and was assured that they would address it. However, after sending a detailed email outlining the situation, I have not received any response for over a week. This lack of communication is unacceptable. This experience has been extremely distressing, and I am shocked that the property hasn’t taken proper measures to resolve this ongoing issue. It’s clear from reading other reviews that bed bugs are a recurring problem here, which raises serious concerns about the property’s cleanliness and maintenance. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place, as it was not only unpleasant but also a health risk. I am attaching photos of my partner’s bites, as well as the bed bugs we found, as evidence of this issue.

When we arrived around 10pm no one was there, although they know time we are coming. After waiting we tried to contact them - 25 min later eventually gentleman arrived to open door for us. So be prepare as we were not. Agreed&requested iron wasn't there, guy at reception (next morning) told us "I don't speak English". Toiletries we found was - one shower cup!!!!No soap, nothing. TV only Italian channel, 2 bottles with water only on day1. Whole Inn are flat divided in 5 micro rooms. Never again...

We rent room from 11 october to 15 october, but we have flight 12 october on the morning, so when we order we ask if we can check in at 8-9a.m 12 october and they answer that is no problem so from this time we was sure that we can do ealy check in. They ask as to confirm arrival day before so we contact with them 11 october that we will come at 8-9a.m and then they answer that we can check in only at 2p.m. We of course were arguing with them so they said that we can apply for free cancellation, like i said it was day before... So i said that of course we need hotel for rest of the days. So we coudnt use our room for one day for which we paid. Then at 2p.m we came and we did self check in... And then house ceeping did which was late.. Did just Photo of ours documents. So we didnt sleep because ours light was in night, and we spend 8 hours on airport because my friend feel sick (She was vomiting) so can you imagine how we delt without hotel. Of course i will text to booking about that. I think we should get a refund for a hotel night that we could not use. I will only mention that the rest of my friends had their hotels ordered from October 12 and it was not a problem to check in earlier even at 7 am...

They texted and called me as the Freccia Rossa was entering Rome Termini to tell me there was a problem with my booking. They said that there was an alleged flooding of the other structure in via Lucullo seven, which is called Veneto suite, and that they therefore invited me to cancel the reservation. obviously since I was about to get off the train and would be in Rome in the evening alone and without accommodation or a warning that they would immediately take me to another facility and threaten to go to the police. I was therefore sent to this other facility, where I found a room much smaller and more modest than the one I had booked and where, moreover, as soon as I went to the bathroom and pressed the toilet button the Pucci cistern literally broke. so I find myself with water flowing and making an infernal noise. they said they will call for assistance but at the moment it hasn't been seen no one and with just a few minutes to go until 9pm I doubt anyone will be seen. I can't sleep all night with this noise. Obviously they immediately took the money from the credit card. This is a situation that should absolutely be avoided and I will certainly seek protection in the competent legal offices. . The matter absolutely does not end here. Among other things, unfortunately I only read the reviews on TripAdvisor when I found myself with my back against the wall and they always do this little game of canceling at the last moment fearing plumbing problems, evidently they are overbooked.

Bad experience, to be absolutely avoided. We were moved without any prior notice, much less with our consent, to another facility of a decidedly lower level and without any justification. I haven't entered such a dirty and poorly maintained facility in decades. These are experiences that should no longer be allowed today. Furthermore, it was a room filled with the smell of cigarette smoke and in the mini-bar there wasn't even a bottle of water for the night because it was completely empty.

Difficulty getting in. There is no reception and you have to call a number that they struggle to answer. Room not very clean and lots of insects in the sheets if you notice. Two days without hot water which seems to be a recurring problem in the past too. In short, stay away!
