It was a great stay the staff so nice and helpful and the room is so nice and clean every thing is great … although they have only one elevator and some time it is crowded and take some time to arrive but this happened two times in my 4 night stay other wise it is great
Hotel Tuscolana is a wonderful pick if visiting Rome. My sisters and I were able to stay in a room with 3 twin beds (rare in Europe) and the accommodations were spacious for Europe as well. Even the bathroom was large and even had a window. The staff of the Hotel Tuscolana were excellent as well, very friendly, and helpful in all things needed. Whether it was offering refreshments, breakfast, beer, coffee, help with directions, dinner reservations, event tickets- they helped! We are a needy group, and the hotel staff was more than accommodating to us in every regard. The breakfast assortment was also terrific. The fresh bakery items and homemade fruit salad and yogurt were supreme! I loved that the fruit salad had no melon!! I am sure the fair varies, but I would expect all that they make is wonderful and fresh. Additionally, the hotel is steps away from a terrific restaurant (I forgot the name, but the restaurant had the BEST gnocchi I have ever had in my life!!), public transit, and a grocery store. Within a short walk, there is a beautiful church, a gym, coffee shops, and various boutiques.
The room is bright, well-equipped, clean and tidy. I managed to check in despite my poor English. The breakfast was also very good and rich in content. Great value for money. After staying for four nights, I could have given it a good review. However, the room is next to the restaurant, separated by a door. At seven o'clock in the morning, there was a ding-ding-dong-dong sound. The hotel promised to change rooms, but I left early and came back late and didn't want to bother. The problem is that the hotel should inform the guest in advance about the noise-affected room, otherwise, even if the room is changed, it will be suspected of being artificially caused by the hotel. It really doesn't match the hotel's reputation. Just a heads up for everyone.

It was pretty good stay overall. It was a decent sized standard sized room. The bathroom was a really good size as well. What impressed me the most was how immaculately clean it was from the minute I checked in thru the duration of the stay. They cleaned the room daily and left a bottle of water when I first checked in which was nice. The staff is nice and friendly for the most part. The breakfast was also pretty good in my opinion. It’s quite varied and a great selection. As far as location, it’s not terrible but not great. It’s a 13 min walk to the metro. However there is a bus around the corner about 2 blocks where it takes 20-30 min into center of town with all major sites. If you’re looking for a stay away from the tourist sites and peaceful then this place is perfect. There are some restaurants and bars in the area that are good. The only thing I was disappointed in was with an issue I was having with a restaurant reservation. I asked the staff to see if they could contact the restaurant to double check on a reservation I made prior. The date was not available on the email I sent. It seemed like the staff was bothered by the request. Just for the record I normally handle these issues myself but it would be a costly call with my phone plan. And I figured since on the website they do state that they help with these types of things I didn’t think it was such a bothersome request. But that was the feeling I was getting back from them. Also I tried making the call from the room but they don’t allow any local calls. Other than that I would not let that minor issue overshadow my stay. I enjoyed the hotel overall.
The location of the hotel is a short distance from the city center, but it is quite convenient to take a bus. The hotel is very clean and the complimentary buffet breakfast is superb.
The stay was very comfortable and pleasant. The property is very close to the subway and bus stops.
The only negative note is the cost of breakfast, a bit high (12 euros for the full one and high prices a la carte). Also the temperature in the room was very cold, adjustable up to 21 or 23 degrees.
Overall, however, the cleanliness is impeccable and the rooms very nice.
Good location, very convenient by bus, walking to the Colosseum is also very close. When I arrived at night, I couldn’t find a place to live and die. I didn’t think of the hotel in a church. When I was sleeping, the quilt was very thin. I felt that all Italy was a thin quilt. Breakfast was not good. I drank the most difficult coffee to drink so far. I suggest that I should find a cafe outside to enjoy breakfast.....
I stayed with my mom and uncle, and it was extremely pleasant. We were warmly welcomed and taking care of. Whatever we needed, Adriana was helping us with great attitude. She is an amazing host. The room is spacious, has everything you might need, the bathroom is perfect, the public transport is close by, there are buses passing by on the corner and 5 min walk there is the metro, the center is about 15 minutes distance, so the neighborhood is pretty and calm, avoiding the noise and chaos from tourists, but still close to reach the center easily. If you are coming to Roma, I recommend you stay here.
Consigliato!

Excellent
For breakfast we could order anything we wanted and it would be ready for us the next day in the kitchen/sitting area. Maya would take care of things and she was always ready to help also with other stuff than just taking care of breakfast. Our room was nice and big and had a view to the street and the theater laying just on the other side of the street. The cleaning of it was also a big thumbs up. The owners Gianni and Gabriella were also super nice people that did everything to make our stay feel great. They helped with whatever we asked them of. On top of it we also found out the the place actually is very well centered for everything. A lot of the stuff you want to see as a tourist is close by. All in all a very great stay and we were a little nervous when we arrived and really couldn't see any big sign for the place. But that was put to shame. If we ever come back to Rome we are gonna stay here for sure. :)
NNavigator20387464130A wonderful stay at Damiani & Sisters. Eleanor was a gracious host and communicated very quickly with any questions I had. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast area has plenty of items for a quick breakfast. Ample supply of coffee is provided too! The unit is only a 5-7 minute walk to the metro station, which can get you all over Rome. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. The metro is only about 4-5 stops from Roma Termini so easy to get to and from the airport if needed, but Eleanor does offer an airport pickup, so be sure to enquire. Right next door is a wonderful take out pizza, falafels, and other great food items. The price is definitely priced right for the great food! The owner of the place is also very kind. Next time we are in Rome, we will definitely stay at Damiani & Sisters!
MmartabertolinoI stayed at this property for three nights. Small but welcoming room. The property is located in a strategic area near the metro which allows you to reach the main areas of Rome. Structure always clean and tidy. The staff very friendly and always available.
GGuest UserThis time there was a little episode, the plane was late, we were late, but the front desk quickly adjusted the room for us, and gave us a cool summer water while we waited. The people in the hotel are very friendly, especially handsome guys, very human, and also help us carry the suitcase. The hotel’s breakfast was eaten in the back garden, a touch of green, and the mood was good.
Mmassimiliano1212Clean, comfortable and excellent room because two steps from the Tuscolana station and the metro stop Ponte Lungo. The entrance to the outside door, as well as to the indoor and to the door of the room is without keys, because it is accessed by personal codes that are sent privately on the mobile.
AAnonymous UserNice location / not that busy area which easy access to the bus stop and clean room .only one thing I would complain is communication with the owner but they try their best to help me.
