The homestay is newly renovated and very clean. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide a particularly good view, and you can almost see the scenery of the entire village. We enjoyed the night view. In the morning, the children got up early and sat in front of the window to look at the scenery for a long time. The boss was very nice. We brought 4 large suitcases with us, and he waited for us at the entrance of the village late at night to help us move our luggage. He also picked us up in the heavy rain the next day. No need to worry about distance and luggage. The whole village is very primitive, and it feels great to walk around in it. We first had breakfast at the entrance of the village, which was delicious. Then we asked the boss to help find a guide to take us around the village. Finally, we asked the boss to help us catch fish in the rice fields. The child caught 7 fish by himself, and we were still not satisfied! Highly recommended! Highly recommended!

A super good stay experience! Because it was more than 11 o'clock in the night to participate in the village T in Kaili, the boss was still waiting for us. The security guard at the door called the battery car for about five or six minutes. The boss carried the suitcase all the way and instantly experienced the ”homecoming”. The wooden building is newly built and very clean. I change slippers before entering the room. The floor-to-ceiling windows of the room are a healing pastoral scene at a glance in the morning. It is very pleasant! The boss is very simple, not the kind of person who can speak words but strives to provide us with the best service. The breakfast is still specially brought back from the county. It is full of happiness. There is a beautiful expectation that it will definitely revisit the old place, because Dali Dongzhai has grown into my heart...

This is the best hotel you will get in Rongjiang. I would say the standard of fit out is similar to a Atour hotel for example. However, this is a brand new property and has a lot of gaps and it feels like the hotel is at a pre opening stage rather than a fully opened hotel. The Landry in very small basically only one washing machine and one dryer. But after each wash there was water leaks all over the floor as they have not installed the water pipes properly. The rooms are clean but air con keeps on switching off and you need to keep on changing cold settings to turn it back on. Another annoying thing is the toilet light. Even when turned on the sensors will turn off the light halfway through a shower. So you need to wave the sensor to turn the lights on again. The reception staff are friendly but clearly lack the polished service. I purchase two nights and added to additional night which I paid at the hotel. But the evening staff don’t seem to communicate with the morning shift. I received a call on the third day around lunchtime asking why I didn’t check out when I paid for two extra nights at reception. There is supposed to be a gym but no equipment and the football field below is nice but entrance to the field is not yet setup. Finally, breakfast is very very basic so don’t expect much. Noodles, eggs and a few veggie dishes but quality is quite low.
