Holiday Inn Express Rosenheim

The rooms were clean and large. Unfortunately there is no refrigerator, which would be very useful for drinks or snacks in the summer. There is also no vending machine for chilled drinks in the hotel. Grocery stores are unfortunately a bit further away, so you have to buy drinks at the expensive gas station nearby. Air conditioning was extremely important to me because I suffer from an illness that causes me to sweat a lot. Unfortunately the air conditioning was broken in both of the rooms we booked, and in one room it even dripped from the ceiling all night, which was also annoying. It was 29 degrees in the room at night. The problem was reported to reception twice and they only said that the technician would come, who never came and so we went to find him ourselves and accompanied him to the room, but he couldn't change anything quickly. According to my travel agent, the hotel refused to offer compensation (e.g. a 15% discount). I find that pretty cheeky because it is a fact that the air conditioning was defective and many other guests were able to confirm this in their reviews and at the hotel. This is a defect and should actually be compensated. The breakfast was good except for the lack of scrambled eggs, but it was often very full and there was no room.
