"Good location, average price. The room is small, there is a TV, an iron, a hairdryer, a small kitchenette with a small refrigerator and a microwave, i.e. just to heat up food, a small bar table and 1 chair, there is a balcony with a metal table and 2 chairs, you can’t sit there after the rain, because... The balcony/terrace is open and everything is wet. Shared toilet and shower on the floor. Ascent to the floor to the rooms via a fairly steep staircase. Within walking distance of cafes, bars, laundry. There is a supermarket nearby."

"Perfectly fine hotel to stay in and good location right off the main strip. Checking in after hours was a bit difficult and I needed to call a number and go through quite a bit of stuff to get the access code but once I was in there the room was a decent size and clean and nice. I’d stay here again because of the location."

"Strong point: Ideal location close to the metro exit. It is possible to go to the center of Sydney on foot and if you walk around Victoria it is possible to have a very beautiful view of the Sydney landscape. Weak point: The hotel has a laundry room, however it is a shame that it is not clean. The hotel is not new, the room was ok for a short stay."

"Really enjoyed our stay at De Vere's. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is close to everything you want to see in Elizabeth Bay, Potts Point, King's Cross and Darlinghurst. Close enough for a day's walk taking in Elizabeth Bay House, The Art Gallery of NSW and the Opera House."

"Great location and great people. For the price it is very good. Points of criticism: - If you have the upper bed, you don't have a socket on the bed. You may be lucky that there is an extension cable - there are no curtains on the beds. So zero privacy"

"Great cheap and small place. Enough place to accommodate a family with kids. Everything is clean and neat and tidy. Breakfast is simple and full of carbs 😉 bread and muesli. Thanks for the milk and hospital type jam and butter. Parking is tough but I did manage to squeeze my jolion in there. Saw a big car struggling."

"Friendly customer service and hotel guests. Clean and tidy. Only the fridge is too full, and no laundry machine yet. The big plus is the location, next to the King Cross entrance at Darlinghurst road."
