Hotel Paradis Park

Stayed at Bamblue with my teenage daughter and sister in law not quite the holiday we were expecting but couldn't fault the hotel. From day 1 were made to feel welcome by the staff, who were all friendly. The hotel was clean inside and out. All the rooms we had were large, clean and furnished well. The rooms had everything we needed to cook simple meals for the nights we stayed in. The kitchen and bathroom sets were a great little addition. The only thing I wasn't sure off was having the shower in full view off the room, just personal preference. Enjoyed sitting in the armchair watching the sea and reading.

The apartment was very spacious, bed very comfortable, kitchen well equipped with all mod cons and was exceptionally clean. Nice clean pool, comfortable sunbeds, plenty of umbrellas and chairs in the outside area. The pool bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Great cocktails, 2-4-1 happy hour, great value for money. All staff were friendly and helpful. Very attentive to requests. Eg we asked for more pillows and they were bought to our room within an hour. The building is secure and safe, with a personal safe provided free in the bedroom. The flatscreen tv was a bonus as my husband could watch the football! We found Pineda to be fairly quiet in the evenings, this surprised us as it was the last two weeks of June. On several occasions we were among just a handful of people in a restaurant. Also some restaurants are only open in the day time plus Fri & Sat night. The beach was beautiful and we had several walks to the towns in both directions. The train was easy to use and we visited Barcelona- an hour away. There is a skate park directly opposite the apartment block, this didn’t bother us, but you can hear the teenagers and their music. What did bother us (a lot) was the dog park directly opposite on the other corner. The many dogs that use it seemed to bark constantly from morning to late evening. We also found that the streets of Pineda have a lot of dog poo left on the streets. There are many supermarkets and shops nearby. We arrived using the shared shuttle service which was excellent value for money at €15 each, took about 1 hr 15min, but then a 10-15 min walk to the apartment which was ok for us. On our return to Girona airport we opted for a private transfer as it only took 45 mins, €85. Overall we had a lovely two weeks here in Pineda, excellent value for money and great to explore this costal area.

We stayed here for four nights the apartments are very clean got everything you need not far from beach and about one hour ten minutes from Barcelona by train the only thing we found is that there is no reception between 12noon and 4 pm which I found odd but the manager was great she even took us to bus stop we’re we were to be picked up the transfers are a nightmare but it was great apartments
