Slice of heaven! This was our favorite part of our trip to France this summer! Clos 1906 is a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of the spectacular vineyards of St. Emilion. Fantastic hosts that make you feel so welcome and serve delicious breakfasts in the morning. Their vintage shop is a must visit! Our only regret was not staying longer. We hope to return someday! Merci mille fois!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Clos 1906. The hospitality and service is unmatched. The house is beautiful & the rooms are amazing. Everything is immaculate & the beds are so comfortable! The breakfasts are lovely, every small detail has been thought of. We loved exploring all day & “coming home” to relax in the garden or by the pool before dinner. The honor bar is a nice treat, allowing us to enjoy an aperitif there rather than going back out. This is a very special place & a hidden gem I am happy to have found. Thank you for an amazing experience!

We had such an amazing 6-night stay at Clos 1906! Eduard and David have thought of every detail to make their guests feel comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast every morning was such a treat, which always included Eduard's smiling face! We stayed in the Saint Emilion room which felt so spacious and luxurious. The garden, pool area, interior dining and living areas are all so beautifully designed and decorated. It really feels like an oasis sitting right in the middle of gorgeous world-class vineyards and chateaux! We also walked into town several times, which was a super convenient and enjoyable 20-minute walk. We HIGHLY recommend Clos 1906 and we hope to return someday!

We booked Cols 1906 for two nights during our trip to St Emilion. It was perfect! We arrived earlier than expected but were greeted warmly by the owner and shown to our rooms. The Chateau is beautiful and such a peaceful place to land for a couple of days. It was a short trip into town and easy access to many vineyards. The breakfast was delicious and our stay could not have been better. Perfection in every way. Highly recommend staying at Clos 1906.

Went to St.Emilion for a very special anniversary and we’re so fortunate to stay in Clos 1906, an elegant boutique hotel on the edge of the village. Everything about Clos 1906 speaks class. Eduard made such an effort to make our stay memorable. From dining advice to organising electric bikes and a fantastic Chateau Wine Tour, Eduard’s recommendations were superb. This was 5 star service and one we won’t forget. Merci beaucoup Eduard.

This place was a little slice of heaven on earth! We were blown away at how amazing the property was, the owners did an amazing job with renovating the place to create a welcoming, comfortable, and up-scale place to stay. The owners were just the kindest people, and gave us advice on where to go in the city when we needed it. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, we're already talking about going back.

Just a fantastic place to stay in this beautiful part of France and within walking distance from St Emilion. Nothing was too much trouble for Eduard, what a great host. Excellent breakfasts and lovely garden to relax in. We all loved our stay.

Clos 1906 - Clos Suite (3 nights) This stay was an absolute pleasure right from the point of booking through to checking out, Eduarde was incredibly helpful and prompt to offer a number of restaurant and winery recommendations. The hotel itself, is absolutely stunning and a result of that same thoughtfulness that we experienced in the run up to our stay. There are too many fine details to write in this review but in summary the attention to detail was beyond the level you’d experience in a 5-star resort in how purposed the hotel is furnished and operated. As I was proposing to my now fiancé during our stay in St Emilion my hope for a perfect vacation was higher than normal. Needless to say Eduarde and the team absolutely over delivered on the perfect vacation experience and even gave us complimentary wine and a gift when checking out to celebrate the engagement. A sincere thank you Eduarde and family for your hospitality, it truly was exceptional and we can’t wait to return again soon. All the best, Alex & Felicity
