Spacious, clean room in a residential quiet neighbourhood. Parking on site. The greatest asset of the hotel is the charming couple owners. Ask them for recommendations to improve your stay. Excellent breakfast with local/artisan goods.

I stayed at Astoria for two weeks during a work trip, made comfortable thanks to Inge and Stephane, two very hospitable hosts and also extremely helpful. The bedroom is spacious and bathroom cosy. Their evening meal selection is appetising (far more satisfying than other hotels I could mention in the vicinity). I am particularly grateful to Inge and Stephane, who both supported me while I had a small injury, helping me find medical help. They also volunteered very useful information i.e. using a wonderful company called ToToom, which transported me to the airport in comfort, and shaving 2 hours off my trip. I shall be going back next week with pleasure. Really feels home from home.

I cannot fault the service that this hotel provides. The family that run it are wonderful, and go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Etienne. It is in a quiet location with very well presented rooms and facilities.

Very pleasant stay, very welcoming and friendly staff, very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Saint-Etienne. A stone's throw from Pilat Park, in a quiet residential area, possibility of parking in the car park, calm and natural environment.

VERY GOOD Remarkable welcome and super friendly and attentive staff Very clean and very quiet hotel Perfect bedding. Private parking lots. Mini bar and lounge on the ground Very popular ping pong room Full breakfasts with very good natural or homemade products LESS GOOD The hotel does not have a restaurant but you can eat on site thanks to an external catering service. It's a practical and satisfying meal but a little stingy when it comes to quality ingredients. Little choice of wines for meals but this is quite normal given the concept of a hotel without integrated catering. The dining room deserves a warmer decoration, atmosphere and temperature. It was a bit cold physically and contextually, and a bit sonically.
