We stayed in a family room for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are uncluttered and pristine, the beds comfy. There is no tv, no tea/coffee and no desk, which some people may miss, but the room and bathroom are perfect and rates very reasonable for Switzerland. Breakfast was good - the staff were very friendly and catered well for one of our kids who is dairy intolerant. We had afternoon tea and dinner during our stay and both also very good. The hotel is in a really nice park which has a playground for the kids, and the hotel itself has table tennis and other outside games for the family to enjoy. Location is great - just a 10 min easy walk from the main train station and city centre. We will definitely stay again.

Restaurantservice ist eine Katastrophe. Wenn man eine halbe Stunde auf einen Kaffee oder Tee warten muss und eine zweite Kaffeebestellung "vergessen" wird, ist das für einen solchen Betrieb mehr als peinlich. Oder wenn dem Herr Ober das Ausräumen der Geschirrspülmaschine wichtiger ist, als die Gäste zu bedienen, versteht er nicht viel vom Service.

Es ist ein schönes Hotel mit Liebe zum Detail. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sowohl mit Badewanne als auch einer Dusche ausgestattet. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Es hat einen Balkon und schöne Aussicht ins Grüne. Es ist ruhig gelegen. Das Angebot im Restaurant ist biologisch und sehr fein. Das Frühstück kann selbst zusammengestellt werden und wird am Platz serviert. Das Personal ist stehts freundlich und aufgestellt. Nur Schade sind die Stufen im Zimmer, da diese Personen mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen das Leben erschweren.

Buen lugar para comer y hospedarse, estilo minimalista, las habitaciones no tienen TV ni escritorio (eso podría ser incomodo si pretendes trabajar) pero son comodas y amplias.

Hatten ein Geschäftsessen kurz vor Weihnachten. Die Bedienung war nicht sehr professionel. Als wir den Zander geschmacklich bestandeten kam der Kellner zurück und sagte, dass alle in der Küche den Fisch als einwandfrei fanden. Auch sonst ist das Essen eher mittelmässig. Location sonst ist echt schön. Leider ist der Geräuschpegel mit 2 Gesellschaften eher zu hoch.

Wir waren als eine Gruppe von ca. 8-10 Personen im Juli da. Wir hatten vorher reserviert und nachgefragt, ob wir eine Torte mitnehmen dürften. Am Telefon sagte man, das sei überhaupt kein Problem. Als ich und eine Freundin früher als reserviert ankamen, um den Tisch (sehr schlicht) zu schmücken als Überraschung, wurden wir gefragt, was denn das überhaupt soll, dass wir den Tisch dekorieren. Danach wurden wir sehr unfreundlich behandelt und es hiess pro Teller für die mitgebrachte Torte würde man uns 5.- Abwaschgebühren verrechnen (5.- pro Tellerchen?!) Es hiess, sie müssten ja auch was daran verdienen. Obwohl wir den ganzen Abend immer wieder am Nachbestellen waren und auch mit 2 Weinflaschen begonnen haben, auch wenn der Service uns nicht gross beachtet hat und wir leider immer wieder ein paar Mal rufen mussten... Dabei war die Terasse nicht mal halb voll.. Auch was zu Essen wurde bestellt. Als die Pommes ankamen waren diese alles andere als knusprig und einfach überfrittiert und schlabbrig. Sehr schade, dass das Konzept / die Bedienung so wenig Gastfreundschaft zeigt. Denn das Ambiente ist wunderschön und man könnte definitiv viel mehr daraus machen. Das einzige Positive an der Bedienung war eine jüngere Kellnerin, der es aufgefallen ist, dass man uns so unfreundlich behandelt hat und die sich dafür entschuldigt hat. Immerhin jemand.. Ich würde es nicht weiterempfehlen.

Waren zum ersten mal dort. Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Sehr kleine Speisekarte. Das Rivella hatte fast keine Kohlesäure. Hatten beide die 1.5 Wurstweggen (Wienerli im Teig) mit Kartoffelsalat. Wurstweggen waren gut, aber der Kartoffelsalat war zu wenig gekocht und ich glaube die Sauce daran war normale flüssige Salatsauce. Ich sag ja seeehr selten das ich was besser machen kann, aber mein Kartoffelsalat ist um Welten besser. Und das zu dem Preis von Total ca 53Fr für 2 Getränke, 2 mal Wurstweggen mit Kartoffelsalat und 1 Kaffee. Naja.

Die Militärkantine hat traumhaft schöne Zimmer. Alles ist total durchdacht. Das Frühstück ist top. Gipfeli, frisches Brot und von allem genau die richtige Menge. Zusätzlich kann man um Aufschnitt und Käse sowie Eierspeisen ergänzen. Selbst die Marmelade wirkte selbst gemacht. Der Service ist herausragend.
