We made and impromptu decision to stay in Lisieux. All the reviews were helpful in making my decision to stay here. Peaceful, charming location. Marie is a gracious hostess who makes a wonderful breakfast. Homemade yogurt is awesome!! We also loved the dogs, good reminder of our dogs.

My dad (80) and I went on a road trip through France in June '22 and we stopped by for 2 nights at this wonderful Maison d'Hotes la Bihorée. We couldn't have been happier with our stay: the peacefulness of the place and the charming family that pampers you as a king (thank you so much Marie, Fabrice, Patrice and Matthis) are things one never forgets. I will never ever go to Normandy again without staying here.

While passing through Normandy, we spent a night at La Bihorée, 5 minutes from Lisieux. We booked last minute on the road and received an excellent welcome from Marie-Jeanne. We stayed in an old stable transformed into a spacious room, very clean with excellent bedding and above all decorated with great taste. A true haven of peace surrounded by nature. Rest and change of scenery guaranteed. Hearty, home-cooked breakfast including delicious pan cake, pana cota and fresh fruit juice. And all served in your room at the time of your choice. You will have understood, I can only recommend this address for a vacation or a weekend in Normandy. Thank you again Marie-Jeanne for your welcome, your kindness and your advice. You have greatly contributed to the success of our stay in Normandy ;-) Looking forward!!!
