The hotel is divided between 2 magnificent Basque houses - 4 & 6 Ave Etcheverry. When booking, it is unclear which of the 2 properties you are going to be accomodated in. I believed that we would have a room with a view towards the town and the sea. We ended up with a room overlooking the rear garden. The furnishings are very mixed. Comfortable bed, but a melange of items aquired at a number of brocantes I suspect. Plenty of free off road parking, so no need to pay 12 € to park within the grounds. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is conveniently located to downtown. It is a no-frills place but had everything we needed. Paid parking, which was helpful, is available. We had a bit of a challenge with our luggage. The host helped us going in, but, I was on my own going out. Normally, this is not a problem, but I had to negotiate a flight of stairs, a street crossing and then traversing a gravel parking lot over which you have to carry your bags.

Cela fait plusieurs années que nous allons dans ce charmant hôtel de famille. Il est composé de deux maisons basques avec de belles chambres, qui ont une âme. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux avec des produits locaux. La cerise sur le gâteau est que cet hôtel est proche du centre et de l'océan mais dans un quartier très calme. Le personnel est très sympa et à notre écoute.

À vrai dire, on ne pourrait rien reprocher à cet établissement... Les chambres sont propres, tenues, suffisamment vastes. Le petit-déjeuner est composé de produits locaux... Mais ici tout semble s'être arrêté au milieu du siècle dernier : la décoration, l'ambiance générale, la petite cour avec balançoire comme chez ma grand-tante... On pourrait parler de charme suranné si cela ne vous était pas facturé au prix très actuel d'un 4*... L'accueil est inexistant. La réception est le plus souvent fermée et le personnel sur place ne comprend pas, ou mal, le français. Je ne parlerai pas du restaurant. Côtes d'agneau poêlées (trop) au beurre ou à l'huile car pas de gril en cuisine ! Une fois a suffi. Nous n'avons pas utilisé les pochettes à serviettes... Si vous êtes nostalgiques delà pension de famille 1960, c'est l'endroit. Mais c'est cher payé !

Bel hôtel de charme de style basque dans un quartier très calme. Chambre "double supérieure" spacieuse et très confortable adaptée à des longs séjours. Salle de bain avec baignoire. On a apprécié les serviettes de belle qualité et les étagères pour le rangement des produits de toilette. L'accueil est sympathique et le parking payant bien pratique. Petit déjeuner correct. Le front de mer n'est pas très loin mais accessible par un grand escalier d'une centaine de marches et le centre ville, plus loin, par le même escalier ou une rue pentue. Le restaurant de l'hôtel étant fermé les 2 jours de notre séjour, nous avons dû l'emprunter plusieurs fois, on s'en serait bien passé !
