George Brooks House B&B

My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing two-day getaway at this charming bed and breakfast. We stayed in Room 3, located on the first floor just steps from the pool. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and featured a lovely jacuzzi tub. Complimentary coffee, water, and non-alcoholic beverages were available, which was a nice touch. The property itself is stunning, meticulously landscaped with roses and other vibrant plants. It’s just a short walk to the heart of town, or an even quicker ride using the free bicycles provided. The pool and hot tub area were clean and well cared for, making for a peaceful retreat. Will, the innkeeper, was incredibly welcoming and shared the fascinating history of the property with us. He also prepared delicious breakfasts each morning that we thoroughly enjoyed. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast and look forward to returning in the future.

We've been staying here for the past several years when we come visit family. The location is great for the local sights and nice restaurants. The B&B is relaxing, Will and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The home cooked breakfasts are a true highlight. The pool is a relaxing place on a hot day. The free Tesla charging is a bonus, which is appreciated! We look forward to our next visit.

We had the best time in St. Michael’s Island and very glad we decided to stay at the George Brooks house. The house is beautiful, the garden and grounds are spectacular and Will is the best. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, he made us feel like we were the only ones there, even though he was fully booked. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is heading to St. Michael’s.

Imagine your rich uncle offered you and several other couples an early summer weekend stay at his sprawling house in a lovely wooded area. Your bedroom and private bathroom had old world charm *and* were cool, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Each day you were fed a delicious breakfast, then turned loose to wander around the prettiest towns on Maryland's eastern shore. That pretty much sums up our visit to George Brooks House B&B. Will and his team were friendly and gracious throughout our stay. Highly recommended for a memorable and enjoyable B&B experience!

We arrived at about 4 pm. The road into the BandB was a bit hard to find and a sign on the road would help. The owner was just leaving and he told us how to check in. Once inside we were greeted by a charming reception area and had no trouble finding our room. It was terrific. Warm and inviting with wonderful views of the pool and beautiful gardens. All the amenities were as promised. The jacuzzi was delightful. We had expected to stay 2 nights but were interrupted by the untimely death of my wife's sister. The owner was very gracious about the 1 night stay. We definitely plan on coming back!

We recently needed to find a place to sleep on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay near the town of St. Michaels, MD. There were many options but we chose the George Brooks House B&B. It was slightly off the beaten path, meaning that any tourist noise would be a minimum. It was also convenient to our destination. The decor was charming. The owner had spent a lot of time and care picking out the furniture and it all fit perfectly together. Our room in this old house was very clean and comfortable and the bed mattress was just perfect. There was plenty of parking and a choice of two different charging stations for our EV. We needed an early breakfast on our first morning as our event began before the announced mealtime. Will, the owner, obliged us with a very delicious meal and we were then on our way. We were not in a rush the second morning and we chatted with him about various things before getting on the road. What a great host. We would definitely come again…for the beautiful accommodations, the delicious breakfasts, and especially Will’s delightful company.
