We have been going to the Don CeSar for 15 years. We like to refer to this as “our place“. We absolutely love it. The beach is not crowded and the beauty of the Pink Palace is unmatched. We have noticed over the years that some things have changed for the better, and some things for the worse, but overall, the  integrity of the Don has remained intact. Highly recommend!

Great spot they need to get the restaurant open & fix the 3 star reviews. But overall always a nice experience. Lots of restaurants around the hotel.

We’ve been going to the Don for many years, most often for our wedding anniversary vacation. I like the history and ambience of the classic “pink” Florida hotel.
On this trip, our shower had no hot water, but one call to the front desk and maintenance was on it. By the time we returned to our room after dinner, it was fixed.
Great staff, good amenities, the Don Cesar is definitely a special place and I highly recommend the entire experience.

Hotel is building an add on, with that limited dining options.
Outdoor bar closes earlier than other hotel outdoor bars.
Would have been nice to have some entertainment in the evenings.
Overall its a beautiful hotel.staff was genuinely pleasant.

My recent stay was TERRIBLE at The Don CeSar in St. Petersburg, Florida, which I booked through ******* as a VIP Access property. As a long-standing ******* VIP Gold member, I deliberately chose this hotel in order to receive the additional perks and benefits that come with my status. Unfortunately, none of these benefits were honored.
Upon check-in, the reception staff was not warm and inviting and informed me that they could not see my VIP Gold membership in their system and therefore could not extend any benefits. I contacted ******* multiple times in an attempt to resolve this matter, but despite my efforts, no benefits were provided throughout my stay.
It is deeply disappointing that a hotel categorized as a VIP Access property would fail to recognize and deliver the benefits that are clearly advertised. This undermines the credibility of Expedia’s VIP program and left me questioning the value of booking through *******.
The staff at the front desk, especially Isabella needs extra training given the calibre of this hotel!

Room had issues with air conditioner and after second day they wanted to move me to another room but for us was too much picking and moving so they solved only by offering $200 credit witch I think wasn’t enough for the inconvenience

Extremely limited and overpriced restaurant/bar menu options; stayed in two rooms within 6 days. Beds were uncomfortable in addition to the noisy, loud, and ineffective air conditioning units in both rooms.
