Not a great hotel. Payment was asked for on arrival - if we wanted to pay at the end of our stay our pre quoted price would be more. Room was poky with poor facilities - not able to make a hot drink Dinner was poor - same choice each evening and not up to usual Logis standard Breakfast was adequate Will return to the Cherbourg peninsula but won’t be staying here

When looking for a place to stay look no further than Hotel le Sainte Mere. Although this is a hotel, Xavier and his wife welcome you here as a guest to their house. They arranged our dinner booking and set up our ride back to the Carentan train station. Easy 5 minute walk to the town center, so look no further, this is your place.

I didn’t stay at the hotel but took a walk out from town one night to go to their restaurant. No problem getting a table, very friendly staff, there was a good choice on the menu, and it was very good value. If you aren’t t staying at the hotel it is well worth a short walk to visit a good restaurant

Hôtel agréable, bien situé en dehors de la ville en pleine nature la grande route se trouve à coté mais aucun bruit (1 nuit), accueil agréable. Les chambres sont propres (vue jardin). nous avons diner au restaurant, plusieurs choix (entreés, plats et dessert)

Diner au restaurant. Produits de qualité Pas de carte, menu uniquement, choix limité mais les plats sont bons. rapport qualité prix correct pour Sainte -mère -Eglise. Accueil moyen, pas très chaleureux, mais correct pour le service. Personne très agréable à la réception au moment du départ

La partie hotel mérite la note de 4 car calme, insonorisation correcte, chambre étroites mais pratiques. Par contre la partie restauration est du type réchauffage de plats surgelés.....appellerait une note de 2, et de même pour ma partie bar où les personnes semblent subir la lourdeur informatique de la gestion des commandes pour un groupe......

Hôtel dans son jus, insonorisation très faible, coté nationale c’est bruyant, idem envers les parties communes et chambres mitoyennes. Il faisait froid dans les parties communes (restaurant), pas agréable. La baignoire qui fait pédiluve et qui ne s’évacue pas bien. Le lit king-size qui est en fait composé de deux lit, pas top quand on est seul. Le restaurant…bien que ce ne soit pas mauvais, ça ne mérite absolument pas le prix payé, vraiment trop cher pour ce que c’est. Petit déjeuner plus que correct. Bref, hôtel de passage et c’est tout, à besoin d’un grand coup de rénovation.

La chambre est propre, confortable et spacieuse mais côté nationale, c'est assez bruyant. Globalement l'établissement est un peu vieillissant et "dans son jus". Le personnel est très agréable et la partie restaurant correcte.
